Kanye West has come a long way from his humble upbringing in Chicago, and has now dominated in the world of music, and fashion, taking his net worth to an astounding $1.8 billion. The business mogul makes headlines everywhere he goes, and when it comes to spending his mega-fortune, Kanye West has his sights set on acquiring formidable mansions that meet his every need. His real estate portfolio consists of some of the most spectacular properties that money can buy, and reflects his modern, minimalist taste in design and architecture.

Kanye's Wyoming Monster Lake Ranch

Kicking off the abundance of real estate owned by this successful rapper, is his sprawling Monster Lake Ranch, This Wyoming property sits on a massive piece of land, and has recently been listed on the market for just over $11 million. This property is distinctly different than the others he owns, namely due to the fact that it hasn't been upgraded with all the bells and whistles that one would expect from this music mogul.

In fact, this modest ranch sits on nearly 4000 acres of land, but the land itself is raw and undeveloped. There is only one bedroom on site, with two modestly sized bathrooms available.

Rather than investing into refining the home to meet modern standards of elegance, West has preserved the natural, raw ambience of the land, and chooses instead to take in the stunning sunset views without the obstruction of other buildings around him.

In order to keep things fun, Kanye West has built a full sized go-kart track and has a large fishing hole that's used for extracurricular fun. This is far from luxury living, and speaks more to the natural elements than lavish detailing.

Bighorn Mountain Ranch

Surrounding himself with the serenity that only nature can bring, Kanye West decided that having one ranch just wasn't enough. He went on to purchase a secondary range which he snagged for $14.5 million in November of 2019. This is located near Greybull, Wyoming and is a full hour away from his other ranch property. Although his original ranch certainly reveals a stunning, natural landscape, this second ranch offers a more pristine backdrop and the jaw-dropping elements are truly breathtaking. This has been referred to as being Kanye's 'therapy ranch,' and is the location in which he holed up during his split from Kim Kardashian. West isolated in this relaxing environment while he penned the lyrics and produced the music for his Donda album, proving to be an inspirational space that motivated him to be creative.

The main residence on the ranch is The Lodge at Bald Ridge, and has ample space for several guests, as well as five bedrooms and four bathrooms to accommodate his large family. There are also smaller cabins on site for guests to enjoy. This space enables Kanye West to freely go hiking, skiing, or climbing, and is a hot spot for hunting wildlife, as well. The White Creek runs through the property and is enjoyed by the 14 Friesian horses and various animals that West has on his property.

A State Of The Art Malibu Bunker

Kanye West has a defined sense of style and is known for his passion for unique, minimalist architecture. In September 2021 his name was splashed across the headlines after the media learned he made a unique and incredibly expensive real estate purchase. West paid $57.3 million on a private real estate purchase which made him the proud new owner of a bunker in Malibu. This was the second-highest real estate purchase in Malibu that year. He bought this massive home through his company, Shore Drive Holdings, and it looks like a true architectural masterpiece. Designed by award-winning architect Tadao Ando, this home looks resembles a sculpture, but this real-life masterpiece also includes some impressive features.

This home is 3665 square feet with three ensuite bedrooms on the lower level and main living spaces and common areas located throughout the main floor.  The top floor is entirely taken up by the master suite, and features a stunning rooftop terrace which overlooks the ocean. The style of this building is crisp, with clean lines and a modernist energy.

A Hideaway In Calabasas

Fans that have tuned in to Keeping Up With The Kardashians are well aware of the fact that the family resides in Calabasas, so of course, West has property there as well. He has  small Calabasas ranch, which has been used as a base for his Sunday Service. This residence is in close proximity to where his children currently reside, and features a massive, floor-to-ceiling fireplace, as well as a rustic, cozy environment. There is an entire wall of windows which overlook the manicured garden.

A Lavish Home In Belgium

Kanye West's trip to Belgium resulted in yet another massive real estate purchase, and this one really has fans talking. He has reportedly scooped up a fancy bachelor pad in the city of Antwerp, and in keeping up with his high design standards, West has secured art dealer Axel Vervoordt to completely redesign his kitchen, and other aspects of this new property. The purchase price for this home has not been declared, but judging by the other pricey real estate purchases West has made in recent years, it's bound to be expensive.

A Hidden Hills Mansion Across From Kim Kardashian

Perhaps the most talked about real estate investment that Kanye West has made in recent years is the home he purchased in Hidden Hills. It's not the luxurious features or the dollar value of the land that has fans talking though, it's the mere fact that this mansion is located directly across the street from his soon-to-be ex wife, Kim Kardashian. West snagged this mid-century mansion for a whopping $4.5 million in December of 2021, which was $421,000 over the asking price.

This is a single-storey estate which was built in 1955 and it strays from West's typical gravitation towards minimalist designs. He is expected to renovate the four bedroom abode as well as the guest studio which is attached to the two car garage. He has a large swimming pool and horse paddock on the property as well, which gives a nod to his ranch properties.

Clearly a fan of owning a variety of multi-million dollar homes, West has a multitude of options, and can lay his head down in any one of his massive residences. The music mogul continues to snag property
