Katy Perry has put her Beverly Hills home on the market for a cool $19.5 million five years after purchasing it.

According to Mansion Global, the pop star has listed the property with Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland. The listing describes the property as one of the “most private and special homes in the exclusive guarded celebrity enclave of Hidden Valley Road in Beverly Hills.”

The 6,000 square foot home comes with 5 bedrooms and X6bathrooms. It features a gym, sauna, library, eat-in kitchen, butler’s pantry, and cold plunge pool. Its outdoor amenities include an infinity pool, outdoor lounge area, and outdoor dining terrace. It also comes with on-site security for maximum privacy.

The estate comes with over an acre of property featuring a variety of walking trails and greenery. The mile-long driveway is lined with tall trees, adding to its privacy.

Despite real estate prices increasing across North America, Katy’s listing price isn’t much higher than what she paid for the property in 2017, which was $18 million.

Katy’s decision to sell the Beverly Hills estate comes less than a year after she sold a second estate in the neighbourhood, which she reportedly used mainly for guests. Though she originally listed the property in October 2020, it didn’t sell until the following May for nearly $7.5 million. Despite the high price tag, Katy barely broke even on the property after purchasing it in 2018 for $7.45 million.

The home feature two separate wings – one of the wings houses an impressive master suite, which included a sitting area, veranda, and soaking tub.

It’s unclear if Katy is in the market to purchase another property. TMZ reports that she also owns a home in Montecito, which may become her primary residence. The singer spends a lot of her time at the Montecito property with her fiancé Orlando Bloom and their daughter, 1-year old Daisy Dove.

As per Hello! Magazine, Katy purchased the Montecito home for $14.2 million. The estate’s manicured greenery and elaborate pool as well as eccentric décor are often featured in the singer’s social media posts as well as those made by her fiancé.

Katy has an impressive real estate portfolio. Perhaps most famously, the ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer tried to buy a former convent from a group of nuns, which resulted in a years-long legal battle dating back to 2015.
