Conan O’Brien is officially letting go of one of his Carpinteria, California properties, but he’s making a significant profit on it.

According to TMZ, the television personality originally listed the property in July for $16.5 million. With over 2,142 square feet of living space, Conan and his wife Liza put in considerable renovations to the property after buying it in 2015 for $7.9 million.

The main home comes with 2 bedrooms, a gym, and a 2-bedroom detached guesthouse. The garage is equipped with a Tesla charging station. One of the home’s main features is its panoramic ocean view, offering its dwellers an impressive scene from any vantage point.

It also has a number of outdoor amenities, including a large deck with a built-in BBQ and a sunset view deck featuring a private staircase leading down to the beach. It also has an outdoor shower and plenty of storage for water gear, like surf and paddle boards.

Conan may be letting this property go, but he’s not going to be living too far away. Late last month, it was reported the talk show host bought another home in Carpinteria, California for $23 million.

The new property is considerably bigger in size. It comes with over 3,400 square feet of living space, including 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It sits on over an acre of land.

The Cape Cod-style home also boasts stunning ocean views. It was originally constructed in the 1960s but has gone through significant improvements since then. Its previous owned, Tim Coleman, reportedly rebuilt the entire home.

Like the home he just sold, Conan’s new property has plenty of outdoor amenities, including multiple decks and patios as well as a private pathway providing beach access.

For when he wants a change of scenery, Conan also owns a $20 million estate in Pacific Palisades. It comes with over 11,600 square feet of living space and has 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.

The home’s other features including a home theatre, gym, chef’s kitchen, children’s playroom, and double-height foyer. Outdoors, the home boasts a private bike path, in-ground trampoline, a huge river rock fireplace, a sports court, a fenced-in swimming pool with inset spa, and a large grassy field.

So, while Conan may be saying goodbye to one of his properties, he’s not short on luxurious estates to call home.
