It’s been a year of ups and downs for music manager Scooter Braun. He shot to stardom after discovering a 12-year-old YouTube sensation, superstar Justin Bieber and today, Braun represents the likes of Ariana Grande, Cody Simpson, Carly Rae Jepsen and others.

In July 2021, Braun filed for divorce from his wife of seven years, Yael Cohen. The two have three children together and seemingly enjoyed the game of house flipping in the past decade.

In 2014, they purchased a $13.1 million mansion in Brentwood, CA, and Cohen’s parents moved in across the street in 2018. Also in 2014, Braun put his former bachelor pad on the market for $4.6 million and listed a second Los Angeles home for $11.6 million.

In 2020, the couple purchased the mansion next door to their Brentwood home, sold by John Travolta and his late wife Kelly Preston for a whopping $18 million.

In addition, the former couple previously owned a home in Montecito, CA, featured in a 2018 issue of Architectural Digest. They paid $10.9 million and in light of the divorce filings, sold it in Sept. for $28 million.

Now that Braun is out on his own and with a net worth of $400 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, he’s still breaking records and making noise among the Hollywood elite.

New Digs

Architectural Digest reports Braun has purchased a $65 million mansion in Brentwood, breaking a record for the priciest residential deal in Brentwood to date and second largest in Los Angeles’ Westside real estate market.

The modern farmhouse is 19,000 square feet and was owned by Larry and Kathleen Paul, co-owners of the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers. Architect Noah Walker designed the ultra-modern home and Jamie Bush served as interior designer.

Additional Amenities

A pool house is available for those long summer nights and outdoor pool parties.

The outdoor seating area also boasts a large fire pit – an amenity Braun has previously said he can’t live without, given the number of songs and artists he’s discovered while seated around one.

Up Next

The sky is the limit for the ultimate businessman, despite a few setbacks this year.

Staying in Brentwood is surely important to Braun to be near his three young children, as the former couple plan to co-parent and the music mogul is well-established in the area.

He owns record label Schoolboy Records, maintains his talent management company with well-known stars and launched a holding company, Ithaca Holdings, which owns portions of television, film and technology industries over the past several years. With a reported iron-clad prenup, even those investments owned by both Cohen and Braun are sure to pay off.

While Braun continues to work through divorce proceedings and settles into his new Brentwood mansion, the drive and passion he shows for the music industry is sure to shine through.
