The perfect workout for those of you who hate lifting weights. All you need is a StairMaster, or a staircase, and a resistance band.
Let's be honest, going to the gym is easier said than done. We can all make New Year's resolutions or simply have the best of intentions, but going somewhere specifically to do exercise on a regular basis takes more dedication than many of us are willing to give.
What's more is unless you have been doing it for a while or you have a personal trainer waiting for you when you get there, how are you supposed to know what to do? Everyone exercising and dieting has their own personal goals so simply walking in, running on the treadmill, and lifting weights might not be what's right for you. Plus, who actually likes lifting weights outside of weightlifters, right?
If you do hate lifting weights but you still want to build up those leg and backside muscles, then we might have just the workout for you courtesy of Bunda Studio, and you don't necessarily have to even leave the house. All you need is a resistance band and a StairMaster, although a staircase will do in a pinch. The first step? Just walk up the stairs, one at a time, for one minute.
Step two is the same as step one, however, with this one take the steps two at a time. Step three is where we switch things up a bit. Turn to your right and walk up the stairs sideways for a minute, crossing your right foot over your left. Then do the same facing left for the next minute. The fifth and final step is a minute's worth of kickbacks.
Perform all five steps above five times, resting for one minute between each complete circuit, and you have yourself a simple fifteen minute (seventeen including the minutes that you should be resting) workout that should give you great results if you practice it on a regular basis. Going to the gym doesn't have to be hard or complicated to get results if you know what you're doing, plus you don't necessarily need to even go to the gym to work out.
