Matt LeBlanc Weighs In On Jennifer Aniston's Divorce

Jennifer Aniston has been all over the press lately, thanks to her recent split from husband of two years Justin Theroux.

While the pair remained tight-lipped on the matter since releasing a joint statement announcing the split, the rest of the entertainment industry has had a lot to say about it. The cast of Friends has largely kept silent about their former co-star's love life—apart from Matt LeBlanc.

According to Metro, LeBlanc spoke to a British newspaper about Aniston's predicament. "I haven't spoken to Jennifer about it," the Top Gear star admitted. "But I'm sure she's doing OK right now. She's a big girl." The show ran for just under a decade and the cast made lasting friendships, although Aniston and Courtney Cox's relationship seems to be the most solid.

Both Theroux and Aniston have always maintained a high level of privacy when it comes to their relationship, rarely giving too many details about their marriage to the press. Theroux reportedly canceled a scheduled appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert after news of the divorce became public, supposedly to avoid the inevitable line of questioning around the split. Aniston hasn't been moping around though, enjoying her 49th birthday with friends a few days before the announcement was made, and attending Amy Schumer's surprise nuptials earlier this month.

A source close to Aniston told People that the star is doing just fine, despite all the speculation to the contrary. "There has been no indication that she is upset. She has seemed fine. Jen has continued her life as usual, she has spent time with friends, like she always does."

The star couple released their statement informing the fans and media of their decision to separate on Feb. 16, 2018. "Normally we would do this privately," it read. "But given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.”

This is Aniston's second divorce, after her marriage to Brad Pitt ended in 2005.
