Halle Berry has been using Instagram lately to dish out diet and fitness advice to her almost four million followers.
Each week, the actress and her trainer, Peter Lee Thomas, share their thoughts as part of her Fitness Friday video series. Some people prefer Flashback Friday, but not Berry — it's all about fitness for the 52-year-old. No topic is off limits, and she is happy to share her secrets to being healthy, as well as looking fabulous.
One way the former Bond Girl stays in shape is by keeping her body guessing, by continuously switching up her workouts. She explained in one video that in order to challenge the body's muscles, there has to be a variation of exercises. In the case of Berry, she revealed Thomas gives her different moves each week, and she doesn't think she has ever repeated an exercise twice. It is also to push your body's limits to keep it guessing, try even if you think you can't.

Berry's diet is a priority number one. She has started the Keto diet as a way to help manage her type two diabetes. The mother of two stated the high-fat, low-carb eating plan helped her with slowing down her aging process. Although she doesn't do it all the time, the actress will practice intermittent fasting, which is where a person only eats during a specified time frame.
Another piece of advice from the Hollywood A-lister is not to hate cardio. There are not only weight loss benefits, but she has credited cardio with giving her better skin, as well an increased sex drive. Her favorite cardio moves are star jumps, high knees, and jump runners. She also shared that classic exercises such as pull-ups, push-ups, squats, kettlebell swings should never be overlooked. They are old-school but still get killer results.
