Fitbit has gone back to basics with the Charge 3. The new tracker is an excellent update to an already fantastic product, which is nothing but great news for customers.
The fitness company spent the last couple of years focusing on the smartwatch business. However, their latest device has the company going back to what they know best. Fitbit is known for delivering quality fitness trackers that generally help users with their fitness or health goals.
Fitbit Charge 3 is being called the best fitness tracker the company has released in a long time, according to Men's Health. It is comfortable, easy to use and affordable at only $150. The price may not seem too inexpensive to everyone but it is one of the most reasonably priced ones on the market.
One of the things that makes the new tracker stand out is that it does not have all the bells and whistles of a smartwatch. Yes, that is a benefit to some people because it is easier to use, and it lasts longer. Some people only want a fitness tracker.
The design didn't change too much, which is good news for folks who have grown to like look of the Charge. One significant upgrade is the screen. It is 40 percent bigger than the Charge 2. It is also brighter, with a more responsive layout.
Another design move was the Charge 2's protruding button has been replaced with an inductive control feature. The profile of the tracker is no longer broken up by a hunk of metal. It looks sleeker. How many of you have had that button poke you while working out, or accidentally hit it on something messing up the display? Good move Fitbit.
The Charge 3 is also waterproof, something all users appreciate. It also added some great new features such as the tracking blood oxygen level, as well as adding a sensor to expand sleep tracking capabilities.

Even with adjustments, the overall focus of the Fitbit Charge 3 is tracking total steps, calories, heart rate and weight. It is the perfect monitor for those who walk, run, swim, and lift to stay healthy. Plus, the brand is reliable and stands behind their products.
