In an Instagram comment, Chrissy Teigen revealed that she’s been sober for four weeks. After sharing a video of herself dancing around during her family's Christmas visit to St. Barts, fans celebrated that the model and influencer was doing much better after suffering a deeply painful stillbirth in September.

In the video, Teigen can be seen hilariously dancing to the classic song "Good Morning" from the 1952 musical Singing In the Rain. In response, one fan jokingly wrote, "I need whatever drugs you're on." Teigen, who has been open about her past struggles with alcohol abuse, answered that she's "4 weeks sober," along with some pink heart and prayer hands emojis.

Fans responded to her comment with congratulations. In 2017, Teigen told Cosmopolitan that she struggled to " just have one drink" at social events. "I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine. Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show, and then a bunch at the awards show." she said.

"Then I felt bad for making kind of an a** of myself to people that I really respected. And that feeling, there's just nothing like that," she added. "You feel horrible. It's not a good look for me, for [husband] John [Legend], for anybody."

Although she said that she was never confronted about her alcohol consumption, she didn’t feel right about it. "They just assumed that it was OK because I always felt OK the next morning. People think it's cutesy and fun to go on these boozy brunches, but there's more to it. I've never once been like, 'I'm sure glad I had that boozy brunch!'" she added.

One of her attempts at sobriety was on a trip to Bali when she chose to abstain from drinking. The experience was a revelation. "I would wake up feeling amazing. My skin felt amazing. I was just so happy," she said.
