A second baby, another son, has joined the growing Underwood-Fisher family and the proud parents are filled with joy. The pair took to Instagram to display their familial bliss with photos of their new baby whom they named Jacob Bryan. Though his excited parents announced the big news of his entrance to the world today, the baby was actually born on Monday, January 21.
According to U.S. News, seven-time Grammy winner Underwood's post stated, "His mom, dad and big brother couldn't be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle." The post accompanied a photo of the family of four together.
Jacob Bryan very well could be a miracle since the former "American Idol" winner has been open about the miscarriages she suffered before becoming pregnant with Jacob, three miscarriages in approximately two years. Rainbow baby Jacob joins older brother, Isaiah Michael, who was born on February 27, 2015.
35-year-old Underwood also posted a rare photo of her makeup-less face as she cuddled her new baby in the hospital bed. Another photo shows proud papa Fisher helping big brother Isaiah properly hold the baby on a pillow in the hospital room. We're sure this is only a small sample of the tender and heartwarming photos to come on Underwood's social media account since the "Cry Pretty" singer tends to stay in close contact with her fans via Instagram.
Things are about to get crazy busy for this new mama because she begins a brand new tour this spring and her latest album, "Cry Pretty," managed to snag a spot at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Couple these career wins with the new, healthy and happy baby and it's a safe bet to say that 2019 seems to have a lot of good things in store for Underwood and her family.
Welcome to the world, baby Jacob Bryan!
