Cadbury And Oreo Are Currently Hiring "Chocolate Tasters" And Anyone Can Apply

The company that owns Cadbury, Oreo, Milka, and other food brands is currently in the process of hiring Chocolate Tasters. Here's how you can apply.

When we're kids, we are understandably pretty idealistic about what we want to be when we grow up. It might be based on something we have seen on TV, the career of someone we look up to, or perhaps the same job that our parents do. If you put the work in you can obviously be whatever you want to be, but for most of us, we don't end up having that first job we fantasized about as a kid.

While only a lucky handful of us will end up landing our dream jobs, we want to end up doing something we enjoy at the very least. To find a way to monetize our hobbies. Whether it be writing, playing sport, developing video games. Well, what if we told you there is a job out there that pays you to do something pretty much everyone loves to do. Eat chocolate.

Right now, Mondelez International is seeking out some professional Chocolate Tasters. If that alone hasn't perked your interest, let us run down some of the companies Mondelez owns. Cadbury, Oreo, Milka, Chips Ahoy, Toblerone, Mikado. Do we have your attention now?

This isn't a voluntary role either. The Chocolate Taster job pays £10.75 ($14.23) an hour. Perhaps the best thing about all of this is that anyone can apply. Just head to the Mendelez website. No experience is required, their words not ours, and as far as we can see from the job description, the only thing stopping you from applying would be an allergy to gluten, nuts, or dairy. Or you know, if you are super weird and you don't like chocolate.

Now for the bad news. For starters, if you are reading this from outside the UK, it is going to take some serious relocation if you land the job. You are day-to-day tasting will take place in Wokingham, Berkshire. The second piece of bad news is that the job is only part-time. You'll only be working eight hours a week, at most. On the bright side, that will give you more time to go to the gym and work off all that chocolate you'll be eating.
