One of the many perks of being among the richest, most successful musicians on the planet? Getting to travel the world with an unlimited budget. While for most of us, staying at a hotel and having a maid clean our room is a luxury, for Beyonce and her family, that’s just a part of everyday life. What do the Carter’s consider luxuries at different hotels around the world? Private villas and infinity pools, onsite recording studios, onsite restaurants owned by celebrity chefs and nothing that costs less than $10K a night.

Globetrotting is not only part of the celebrity lifestyle, it’s a part of the business. Beyonce travels from continent to continent on her multi-million dollar-making world tours. Trust me, no luxury is spared for these “business trips”. While most people on working trips might get set up at a Holiday Inn Express, budget hotels are not even on B’s radar.

Being a mega musician is no joke, in order to perform at their best, stars like Beyonce need pampering. Spas must be onsite to help her unwind after show nights, posh restaurants must be available to cater to her nutritional needs and butlers must be present so that not one finger is lifted. When it comes to leisurely vacations, Beyonce prefers somewhere child friendly for her growing family in a country that is culturally stimulating. And of course, somewhere offering fun outings and romance for her and hubby, Jay Z. Check out this list of 20 lavish hotels Beyonce and her family regular that you’ll never be able to afford!

Shangri-La Hotel - Paris, France

Do you have $19K to spend on a night out in Paris? If so, you should definitely check out Beyonce’s Parisian favourite, the Shangri-La. If not (like the rest of us), you’ll just have to live vicariously through what we know about the luxury suite Mrs. Carter booked during her Formation World Tour.

The top floor suite Beyonce snagged in France is almost 3,000 square feet, including a 900 square foot balcony. Glass windows from corner to corner offer a 360 degree view of Paris. Although $19K a night seems like half of a yearly salary for some of us, in reality it’s mere pennies for Beyonce. Especially seeing as her Formation World Tour grossed over $256 million. And, to top it all off, the work trip for Beyonce probably could have been written off in her taxes anyway.

The Trident Hotel - Port Antonio, Jamaica

Looking like it’s made for royalty, the Trident Hotel in Port Antonio, Jamaica offers 13 huge private villas. Beyonce and her sister Solange chose one of the villas for a girls getaway. The location was perfect for these celebrity siblings as it’s super private and an escape from the paparazzi. There’s no wonder Queen Bey finds solace in this seaside castle.

The hotel is a total paradise, complete with infinity pools, a private beach club, a gym overlooking the ocean and amazing food served on a veranda. Although staying at the hotel itself seems like a dream vacation, there is so much to see and do in the Port Antonio area including rafting, surfing and exploring the Blue Lagoon. As we saw on Tumblr, Beyonce and her sis opted for climbing trees, having impromptu beach photoshoots and smiling in the back of pickups.

The Setai - Miami, United States

This hotel isn’t for your average Joe. It’s the most expensive piece of real-estate in Miami’s South Beach. What does ultra-expensive attract? The ultra-rich of course. A-listers who have stayed at the gorgeous Setai Hotel include Chris Brown, Gisele, Madonna, Simon Cowell and of course, Beyonce.

This luxurious accommodation is a popular home away from home for for those who can afford it. It’s the perfect location for DJs and celebrities to enjoy the party scene of Miami, while having a relaxed environment to come back to. Not only is the Asian-inspired hotel a soothing solace, it also doubles as a work space for musicians with a recording studio on site designed by rocker, Lenny Kravitz.

Casa De Campo - Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is among Beyonce and Jay Z’s favourite vacation destinations. They have been to the island several times and are known to have stayed at Casa De Campo in Punta Cana. This estate has had Drake, Justin Bieber and Elton John as guests and has also been seen on Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s when the family had stayed there on vacation.

The private, seven-bedroom, 35,000 square foot estate is nestled away from any public hustle and bustle. It even has it’s own helicopter pad to ensure guests arrive in style and away from paparazzi. Guests have access to a private beach, gourmet kitchen, jacuzzi and outdoor showers. Close to the estate is a posh marina (full of Beyonce-approved yachts I’m sure), designer shopping and polo matches to keep everyone entertained. The property went on the market in 2015 for a “mere” $19.5 million.

The Fitzwilliam Hotel - Dublin, Ireland

Though it’s not surrounded by palm trees or turquoise waters, this 5-star Irish hotel doesn’t spare on glamour. The suite Beyonce booked for a six-night stay during her Mrs Carter Show World Tour is 2,000 square feet large and even comes with a 24-hour butler. If a massive suite wasn’t enough, she even hooked up her large entourage by booking up all of the hotel’s executive suites and executive double rooms. This brought Mrs. Carter to a grand total of just over $17K for the stay.

Having a grammy-winning musician stay at your hotel is no joke. Ahead of her stay, staff prepared her room with her favourite music, movies, wine and snacks. She even had Irish celebrity chef, Kevin Thorton’s finest meals available in the comfort of her own suite. If all of that seems a little too stressful, luckily the room comes with a masseuse too.

Goldeneye - Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Jamaica, one of Beyonce’s favourite vacationing spots. The Goldeneye Hotel is arguably the most luxurious resort on the tropical island. The 52-acre property is complete with a private lagoon, villas with stunning views as well as a treehouse spa. Most notably, the historic hotel is where Ian Fleming wrote all 14 James Bond novels.

Jay Z and a 9-month pregnant Beyonce rang in the year 2012 at this lavish celebrity hotspot. The couple are absolutely in love with the Caribbean island, and once Blue Ivy was born, they even brought her along on one of their Jamaican getaways.

Ponta Dos Ganchos - Florianopolis, Brazil

This romantic, award-winning resort is perfect for Mr. and Mrs. Carter. 25 beach bungalows line along a private peninsula on Brazil’s Emerald coast. The Carter’s bungalow of choice is called Especial Vila Esmeralda.

The resort is under the Relais & Chateaux franchise which means one very important thing, the cuisine offered is absolutely to die for. The spa is located under hilltop cabanas and guests have access to white sandy beaches and nature trails. There is even a private island offshore that can be booked for a dinner for two. No word on whether J and B opted for this dinner option, but I mean, come on, we can only imagine they did, right?

Le Royal Monceau Raffles - Paris, France

The epitome of elegance, this five-star hotel in the heart of the city of love itself was the perfect Parisian getaway for the Carters. It opened right at the end of the Roaring Twenties and was once the choice hotel for icons like Walt Disney, Winston Churchill and Ernest Hemmingway. In 2008, the hotel ditched it’s Twenties decor and was completely renovated. Today, it’s facaded with ruby red glass and mirrors which show off glimmering chandeliers and display cases.

The hotel has 85 rooms, 61 suites and three apartments. Beyonce and Jay Z stayed in an almost 4,000 square-foot Presidential Suite. Movie anyone? Guests at Le Royal Monceau Raffles even have their own access to an onsite movie theatre. And, for those who have the dough, the hotel’s concierge can even arrange private midnight tours of the Louvre.

Andaz Liverpool Street - London, England

This charming, five-star, victorian style hotel dates back to the 1880’s. It’s set right in the heart of London which made it the perfect stay for one of Beyonce’s UK tours. It’s got 267 rooms and seven restaurants and bars, including a celeb favourite champagne bar. Get this, the hotel is even affordable for commoners like us! Rooms start at around $280 per night. Still not cheap, and definitely a fraction of what Beyonce paid for her suite, but still!

What is now a luxurious celebrity hot spot was once nothing of the sort. The hotel was built over the site of Bethlehem Hospital which housed the mentally ill dating back to 1247. Slightly creepy yet super interesting. Talk about an upgrade!

The NoMad Hotel - New York, United States

Ahh, “New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of”, as a wise Alicia Keys once sang on a Jay Z track. NYC’s NoMad Hotel was the scene of Beyonce’s 35th Soul Train-themed birthday. Keys was a guest as well as stars like Chance the Rapper, Kelly Rowland, Usher and of course, Jay Z and Solange. The hotel is nothing modern by any means, however it’s charming accents like faded Persian rugs, tapestry-covered chairs and 200-year-old French fireplace makes it very unique and intimate.

The most buzzed about feature of this hotel? The NoMad restaurant, their signature dish, roasted chicken with foie gras and black truffles draws in celebrities like no other. The hotel suites offer amenities like walk-in showers, claw-foot tubs as well as spacious living and dining rooms. The Suite Royale even has a private terrace.

Jumeirah Beach Hotel - Dubai, United Arab Emirates

One major thing Dubai is known for is it’s incredible buildings and architecture. If the Jumeirah Beach Hotel is half as amazing on the inside as it looks on the outside, guests are in for a serious treat.

It’s been said that Dubai is among Beyonce’s favourite holiday destinations. She’s been photographed numerous times at this gorgeous hotel. The Jumeirah has a whopping 21 restaurants and bars to choose from, offering everything from Indian to German cuisine. For the Carter family, now a party of five, this hotel is perfect because it has complimentary access to a nearby waterpark (which I’m sure the Carter’s could privately rent if they wanted). When guests aren’t soaking in the beach, they might be lounging in their ocean-view rooms enjoying luxurious rain showers and free-standing bathtubs.

Adriana Hvar Marina Hotel & Spa - Hvar, Croatia

The ideal European getaway, the island of Hvar is located in the Adriatic Sea and on it is a total paradise. The Adriana Hvar Marina Hotel & Spa has a private garden and ocean views. It’s got a rooftop terrace equipped with a pool along with a sky bar and lounge. The island itself, which was once a 16th century Venetian fortress is now packed with nightclubs, hillside villas and restaurants.

Jay Z and Beyonce visited this Croatian hotspot when Blue Ivy was just a little baby bump on her mom’s belly. Get this, Blue’s name was even inspired by a beautiful blue tree the couple spotted on their vacation here. This caught major media attention which lead to tourism on the island to sky rocket. Eager to return the favour, the Mayor of Hvar made Blue Ivy an honorary citizen.

Beverly Wilshire Hotel - Los Angeles, United States

Yes, it’s THAT hotel, the one Queen Bey filmed her infamous 7/11 music video in. Not only have she and Jay Z stayed at this hotel, they essential lived there for a while during their search for the perfect LA mansion to buy, #RichPeopleProblems.

Built in 1928 and located on the iconic, Rodeo drive, this luxury hotel has seen the likes of countless celebrities and US presidents. It’s been the main filming location for movies such as Pretty Woman and television series, Entourage. The Beverly Wilshire may not include ocean views or tropical cocktails but the history it holds in the heart of Beverly Hills makes up for all of that. Elvis Presley spent a number of years at the hotel. John Lennon also called it home during a brief separation from Yoko Ono. One more impressive feature, the hotel’s Cut restaurant is owned by Wolfgang Puck.

Hotel Saratoga - Havana, Cuba

Beyonce and Jay Z visited Cuba in 2013 to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. In true Carter fashion, they stayed at the grandest hotel Havana had to offer. The 96-room hotel includes a rooftop pool, a gym, a spa and numerous restaurants. It is located right across the street from the Cuban capitol building on the edge of Old Havana. The charming colonial style of the hotel brings guests right back to the 1930’s.

Cubans definitely aren’t used to seeing celebrities walking their streets since Americans weren’t welcome there for over 50 years. During their trip, Beyonce and her husband greeted excited crowds who were flocking to see the couple on their balcony. This is nothing like we’ve seen during any of her other hotel stays where she’s usually using private elevators and dodging paparazzi.

Mar Hall Hotel - Bishopton, Scotland

Talk about a hotel made for (Hollywood) royalty! The castle-like, 5-star Mar Hall Hotel in Scotland is where Beyonce chose to stay for a few nights during the UK leg of her Mrs Carter tour. The hotel is infamous for accommodating A-list musicians performing shows in Glasgow.

The 240 acre private estate, spa & golf resort has 53 individually-designed rooms guaranteeing a unique experience for every guest. Amenities include an 18-hole golf course, bar and most stunning of all, the Grand Hall which is an elegant and sophisticated area where guests can treat themselves to afternoon tea. Although no ocean views are provided, guests instead have stunning views of the River Clyde the Kilpatrick Hills. The 18-century, gothic style building is surrounded by gorgeous gardens and serene water fountains.

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain - Paradise Valley, Arizona

Hubba, hubba honeymoon! Although few details are known about their very private 2009 nuptials, we do know that Beyonce and Jay Z spent their honeymoon at this breathtaking resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Surrounded by dessert and mountain views, this hotspot is known for it’s luxurious spa and championship tennis court.

Having the ability to quite literally choose anywhere in the world to go, it says a lot that the Carters chose to stay a mere state away from home. However, it really is no surprise, the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain is the perfect place for romance and relaxation. When guests aren’t lounging by the infinity pools sipping on premium cocktails, they can probably be found in the award-winning spa being pampered by Asian-inspired treatments. In 2016, the resort opened a 3,500 square foot spa mansion with four bedrooms, a wrap around porch, a private pool and butler service. What else does it come with you ask? A hefty credit card bill!

Amanpuri Hotel - Phuket, Thailand

The Amanpuri Hotel in Phuket Thailand is known as one of the best hotels in the entire country, if not the entirety of South East Asia. Although Phuket is known for being the main tourist Hub of Thailand, this secluded, paparazzi-proof resort was made for stars like Beyonce. Spending a whopping $25,000 a night, you know this place had to have been unreal.

With a gorgeous view of the Andaman Sea, this resort includes 40 standalone villas decorated with white orchids, some of which have private plunge pools. Guests at this hotel can enjoy private beach access when they aren’t lounging by the pool surrounded by a lush jungle. When relaxing isn’t in the itinerary, the resort has a water sport centre, a tennis court and a sea-view gym and spa. The Carter’s Thailand adventure also included interacting with baby tigers and visiting Thai temples.

St. Regis Hotel - San Fransisco, United States

Beyonce and Jay Z sure know how to lay rumours to rest. Amid divorce gossip in 2014, the couple set the record straight by living it up in San Fransisco during their On The Run tour. Although it was alleged the pair were staying in separate hotel rooms at the time, the $30K a night suite they stayed in at the St. Regis Hotel begged to differ.

The Presidential Suite at the St. Regis offers floor-to-ceiling windows with a panoramic view of San Fran as well as a private elevator free of paparazzi and other hotel guests. Aside from it’s own delicious restaurant, the hotel is known for being right in the middle of restaurant heaven. When the Carter’s stayed here, they enjoyed lunch with The Black Eyed Pea’s Will.I.Am at Tosca Cafe, in their own private room, of course.

Windsor Court Hotel - New Orleans, United States

Close to the French Quater, this elegant hotel has been the choice stay for numerous celebrity couples visiting New Orleans. From the lobby to the rooms, Windsor Court is decorated with original paintings, sculptures and tapestries portraying British royalty and Windsor Castle. The extensive collection of art dates back from the 17th to late 20th century.

Beyonce and Jay Z have stayed in the hotel’s full 800-square-foot apartment which has a huge living room, French doors, a private balcony and a butler’s pantry. The couple stayed there when their daughter, Blue Ivy was just a baby. They even brought along a personalized rocking chair for the infant. Since then, the couple has decided to make New Orleans more of a frequent vacation destination. In 2015, the couple bought a $2.6 million church-turned-mansion with 22 rooms including seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Quite a bit of room for a family of five!

The Carter Yacht Club - Anywhere, Everywhere

Riddle me this: When Beyonce isn’t in the studio, or at her multi-million dollar mansion, or at a luxury hotel, where might she be? Come on, you know this! On a yacht, of course! It’s no secret that the Carter’s love their yachts. Whether it’s a romantic trip for husband and wife or a family affair for their party of five, the family can’t go a few months without being photographed on an exorbitant vessels.

The Mediterranean, Miami, Belfast you name it, they’ll sail it. One of the most incredible yachts Beyonce and Jay Z like to borrow from time to time is the Galactica Star, owned by Nigerian energy magnate Kola Aluko. The $50m vessel has it’s own beach club, a helipad and outdoor jacuzzi. The yacht includes a master suite, a VIP room and four guest suites making enough room for 12 guests. There are 13 staff members aboard to cater to every one of the guests’ needs. The owner of the Galactica Star loans it out to the Carters for $900,000 a week.
