When it comes to Alec Baldwin, he’s definitely an amazing actor and a funny comedian. He has made us laugh more times than not with his skits on SNL and within the parameters of his TV show 30 Rock. He’s definitely good when it comes to deadpan humor. We love it. Regardless of how great of an actor Baldwin is, he’s been in some pretty big scandals. He’s had some bad behavior over the years that make us wonder what kind of a person he is behind closed doors. He wouldn’t be the first celebrity to show bad behavior and it’s doubtful that he will be the last.

The tabloids love Alec Baldwin and they just can’t help but wait to see what he’s going to get up to next. Over the years his rants have certainly got him into a lot of trouble and as funny as they are sometimes it does give us a window into his life and it’s not always pretty. The rants are actually making him more popular than his work does and that’s never a good thing.

That Time He Sided With Harvey Weinstein

When the scandals broke about Harvey Weinstein people started taking sides. What was surprising was that some of the Hollywood stars were defending Weinstein and actually blaming the victims. Wasn’t that how Hollywood got in trouble in the first place. Alec Baldwin went under fire when he started blaming the victims instead of admonishing Weinstein’s behavior. "When women take money, and are silenced by that money — even though they took the money and were silenced because they were told beyond the money it was the right thing for them to do, keep quiet, don't make too many waves, it's going to hurt your career — when they do it, nonetheless, does it set back the course of change? That's an issue, I think." He was criticized for “mansplaining” the incident away.

Alec Got Booted Off An Airplane

Sometimes the rants that Alec goes on has gotten him kicked off of airplanes and that has to suck when you have someplace to go. When it came time for the airplane to depart, Baldwin was asked to turn off his phone and he refused to. "The passenger was extremely rude to the crew, calling them inappropriate names and using offensive language," the company said in a statement posted on its Facebook page. Baldwin took it upon himself to blame a flight attendant instead of the fact that he was the one on his phone.

She “singled me out to put my phone away" while he claimed other people were using their phones.

"I guess the fact that this woman, who had decided to make some example of me, while everyone else was left undisturbed, did get the better of me," Baldwin wrote.

He Went On A Rant

A MailOnline reporter published a story about Baldwin’s wife Hilaria and that was all it took for him to go nuts. The reporter claimed that his wife had posted upbeat tweets about shopping for her wedding anniversary present and making fruit smoothies all the while it was the day of James Gandolfini's funeral. Baldwin unleashed a homophobic rant on Twitter and then deleted his account after. As is his nature, his tweets were filled with swears and were pretty threatening. “I'm gonna find you George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I'm gonna f*** you... up. If put my foot up your f*****g a**, George Stark, but I'm sure you'd dig it too much. My wife and I attended a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit write this f*****g trash.” Seriously, who talks like this to another person, regardless of who they are?

He’s A Defender Of Woody Allen

Alec Baldwin is yet another Hollywood actor that is behind Woody Allen all the way. Since the allegation scandals that have rocked Hollywood in the past year, many actors have come out and said that they regret working with Woody Allen but Baldwin wasn’t one of them.

He has considered his work with Allen on three films to be “one of the privileges of [his] career.”

He said, “Woody Allen was investigated forensically by two states (NY and CT) and no charges were filed. The renunciation of him and his work, no doubt has some purpose. But it’s unfair and sad to me,” Baldwin said in a tweet from his foundation’s account. When Dylan Farrow came out to accuse her father, Baldwin said, “Is it possible to support survivors of pedophilia and sexual assault/abuse and also believe that WA is innocent? I think so.”

He Has Behaved Questionably Toward Women

Alec Baldwin has admitted that he is not completely innocent of treating women differently in Hollywood. Maybe that’s why he comes to the defence of Weinstein and Allen. His excuse was that he came from a generation where women were not treated as equals. “I certainly have treated women in a very s*xist way. I’ve bullied women. I’ve overlooked women. I’ve underestimated women," Baldwin said. "Not as a rule, [but] from time to time, I’ve done what a lot of men do, which is, when you don’t treat women the same way you treat men." He stated that he would like to see a change. "I'm from a generation where you really don't, and I'd like that to change," he continued. "I really would like that to change."

He Took It Too Far

The amount of violent outbursts that Alec Baldwin has had over the years is just too many to count. It’s amazing how he’s been allowed to go on so many rants and yet, he hasn’t been exiled from Hollywood. On August 23, 2013, he was photographed getting physical with a photographer and he looked like he was out of control. We get it, having someone violate your privacy on a regular basis must get annoying at times, but this is a regular occurrence for Baldwin. He’s either getting physical with someone or is ranting about something on Twitter. The same day his wife was giving birth to their daughter, Baldwin was pinning a photographer up against a car. The shaken photographer ended up calling the police. His behavior often seems out of control.

Alec Baldwin Feuds Withs Co-Stars

It’s not just the outside world that he’s fighting with. He’s even clashed with people on set. Now given there are a couple of stars out there that have had problems getting along with Shia LaBeouf, but given Baldwin’s hair-trigger temper we have to wonder if he wasn’t at fault. Page Six reported that there was backstage drama between the two actors when they worked together in Broadway’s Orphans.

LaBeouf decided to post the email exchange that showed Baldwin complaining of being too tired and LaBeouf calling him out on it. LaBeouf wrote, “I’m a hustler. I don’t get tired. I’m 26, chief.”

Baldwin responded on Feb. 10, 2013: “Listen, boy. I’m not your chief. You got that? Ha. Hahahahaha. Let’s go.” We can imagine how that must have gone down.

MSNBC Fired Alec Baldwin For Bad Behavior

His bad behavior has been going on for years. In 2013, he was fired from his show with MSNBC because he said some filthy things to a photographer and it made the news. It’s always nice to see an actor being reprimanded for bad deeds because especially with Baldwin the bad behavior doesn’t seem to stop. Page Six reported, “The rage-aholic’s weekly show, Up Late With Alec Baldwin, has been canceled because of the actor’s foul-mouthed rant at a photographer he called a nasty name. ‘The decision has been made. He’s gone,’ an insider at the cable channel told me. “The [parent company] Comcast guys have decided. Word is spreading through the building.” Sometimes people just get sick of someone acting out all the time.

He Has Bad Habits

Like many celebrities, he had a history of bad habits that got out of hand. Thankfully for him, he was able to get some help and move beyond it. While you’re in that phase, though, you are often hurting yourself and the people around you. Baldwin has said to Good Morning America that he quit his bad habits in 1985 and the years prior to that brought him a lot of pain and misery. “I got sober when I was just about to turn 27,” the star said. “And those two years that I lived in that white, hot period, as a daily abuser, to my misery, boy, that was a tough time. There was really, really a lot of pain in there, a lot of pain.”

Alec Baldwin Is Politically Incorrect

It’s really starting to get hard to keep track of all the questionable things that Alec Baldwin has done over the years. Reporter Tara Palmeri who is in the photo may have been happy that Baldwin was talking to her at first but that likely changed when he grabbed her arm and told her, “I want you to choke.” As if that wasn’t bad enough, in 2013, he allegedly shouted out racial slurs to a Post photographer by the name of Gary Miller who was outside his home. The reporter used to be an NYPD detective and stated that Baldwin called him a “dealer” and “coon.” These stories are all little tidbits into the mind of Alec Baldwin and none of it sounds very nice or paints a very good picture of his character.

That Time He Called His Daughter A Pig

The way we treat our children is definitely a good indication of what kind of person we are. As parents, it’s our role to protect them and care for them. In 2007, Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger were going through a divorce and an ugly custody battle over their daughter, Ireland. A voice-recorded message was made public and had Baldwin calling his daughter a “rude, thoughtless little pig.” It shocked the world especially since the girl in question was only 11 years old at the time. He also went on to say, “You don’t have the brains or the decency as a human being. I don’t give a damn that you’re 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you’re a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain who doesn’t care about what you do as far as I’m concerned. Once again I have embarrassed myself trying to get to a phone. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone.” Although they have somewhat mended the relationship, there has been a break between them since the incident.

He Talks That Way All The Time

Ireland has stated over the years that the reason there is such a break in her relationship with her dad is that people won’t let it go. She said he used to talk to her all the time that way when he got frustrated. It’s pretty sad that the girl actually thinks that it’s okay and totally normal behavior for her dad. Alec and Ireland have even poked fun at the incident on Instagram with this photo and we’re glad that they can put it past them, but it doesn’t make it okay for a father to talk that way to his daughter. She told Page Six,

“The only problem with that voicemail was that people made it out to be a way bigger deal than it was. He’s said stuff like that before just because he’s frustrated.

For me, it was like, ‘okay, whatever.’ I called him back I was like, ‘Sorry dad, I didn’t have my phone.’ That was it.”

Baldwin Turns Into A Raging Bull

Yet another story about Baldwin attacking a photographer shows that he is someone who doesn’t have control over his emotions. He obviously has a strong dislike for them, but that doesn’t mean he has the right to attack people. He very often crosses the line. A Daily News photographer approached Baldwin and took his picture in 2012 after leaving the Marriage Bureau. That was when Baldwin attacked and the photographer described him as a “raging bull.” “He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me,” the photographer told the New York Daily News. “And then he started shoving me and pushing me. He lunged at me like a raging bull.” It’s actually frightening to think of how many times he has lost his temper over the years without any consequences to his actions.

He Insulted Mothers On Social Media

For some reason, it really bothers Alec Baldwin when proud mothers have the word “mom” in their bio or on their profile. He doesn’t feel like that’s a job or a reason to boast about it. He took to social media, of course, to let the world know how he felt about it. He took to Twitter and, for reasons that no one can really explain, he mocked mothers everywhere when he posted this, “I love how all these people write `mom’ in their profile,'” he wrote. More and more he just seems like a bit of a jerk and it’s a wonder that he’s still as popular as he is. Mocking mothers who are proud to be mothers just isn’t cool. We doubt his wife would find it very cool either.

He Took His Anger Out On A Family In Mourning

No one seems to be safe when it comes to Alec Baldwin’s rants. When officer Mark McPhail was murdered, people wanted justice. In 2011, Troy Davis was executed in Georgia and Baldwin didn’t like it one bit. Instead of just stating that he opposed the death penalty, he took to social media and started attacking the mourning family members of the deceased cop. We seriously have to wonder what goes through Baldwin’s head at times or why he would ever think that was something appropriate to do. When he heard about the execution, he tweeted, “Wonder if the McPhail family will seek death penalty for US leaders who killed thousands of US soldiers and countless innocent Iraqis.”
