Have you ever looked at all of your favorite female A-listers and thought to yourself, "All these people look the same?" Well, it's not just you. There are some physical traits that almost every successful female celebrity seems to have. Say what you will about the media's definition of female beauty, but if women want to be successful these days, they usually have to adhere to our ideas of what makes a woman attractive. Is this moral? Is it right? Probably not. But this is show business we're talking about here, and a girl needs to do everything she can to get ahead in this industry.

Some women are born with naturally amazing physical features. Whether this is a full set of lips, an hourglass figure, or beautiful blue eyes, these natural features really increase a woman's chances of making it in Hollywood. But if you don't have any of these, don't worry too much... You can always fake it, and that's what a lot of female celebrities have done to great success. You'd be surprised at what some of the world's top celebrities are hiding, and some of them have been faking their good looks this whole time. Let's go through some of the physical features that almost every successful female celeb has these days, whether they were born with it or not.

Full Lips

There's nothing better than a full, pouty set of lips when it comes to being a film star. Lips and the mouth area in general are incredibly important when acting, as that's where the lines are delivered from. You see a lot of actors' lips, and almost all of them move in an interesting and even alluring manner. More often than not, the leading actresses today have incredible lips.

There are many actresses out there who have been blessed with amazing lips. Examples that spring to mind include Chloe Grace Moretz, who seems to have been born with full and shapely kissers. And who could forget those massive lips of Angelina Jolie, which are some of her defining features. Plenty of other women out there have tried to match these naturally full lips, with Kylie Jenner among them.

Blonde Hair

Hollywood has always been obsessed with blondes. The cliche of the blonde bombshell actress is one that just doesn't seem to go away, and when you think about it, the vast majority of successful actresses these days rock the blonde hair. Keep that in mind when you look through the rest of this article, as tons of the women we're going to mention all happen to be blonde.

But the real question is whether they're real blondes or fake blondes. Natural blonde hair is actually pretty rare these days, and there's no way all of the blonde A-listers these days were born with golden locks. But there are those who have natural blonde hair, and Jennifer Lawrence and Reese Witherspoon are just two examples. Others, such as Olivia Munn, have dyed their hair blonde in the past.

An Hourglass Figure

It has been scientifically proven that men are drawn to women with an hourglass figure. If you haven't heard this term before, it basically means wide hips, a slimmer waist, and then another curve with leads to the top of the body. Plenty of women strive for it, but only a few are blessed with a natural figure like this. Hollywood has a fixation with women like this since the days of Marilyn Monroe.

The hourglass figure is still rare today, but those who have it never have trouble finding work in the movie business. One clear example is Scarlett Johansson, who has been called the most beautiful woman on Earth multiple times. Her body is seen as the "ideal shape," and you can see it in all its glory above. But there are some women who try to achieve this ideal through faking it alone. Kim Kardashian springs to mind.

A Beautiful Smile

We've already touched on the importance of the mouth when it comes to pursuing a career in acting, and to be honest, it involves a lot more than just nice lips. Even if you have the nicest lips ever, you're still not going to make it unless you have nice teeth when you spread those lips into a smile. Teeth have been looking more and more beautiful in recent decades, and having perfect choppers is a must for all those aspiring actresses out there.

But there are actually a few actresses who seem to have natural teeth, without even having to resort to extensive dental work. Kirsten Dunst is one fine example. Her smile is undeniably beautiful, but she actually has a few minor imperfections in her smile. She chose to leave those little details alone, and still has an amazing smile. Others, such as Hilary Duff, achieved their perfect smile through veneers and other dental work.

Curves

Although it definitely doesn't hurt, it takes a lot more than just a nice hourglass figure to get attention in the movie business. Yes, we're talking about women's natural curves. These curves are not the kind you see in the silhouette of a women's frame, but rather the curves you see when she's facing to the side, in a profile view. There are plenty of women in show business that have natural curves where they count, and it helps them a lot in their careers.

One clear and fine example is Kat Dennings. Just by looking at her, you can see that this is one woman who is incredibly curvy, and audiences love her for it. She can really make any outfit look marvellous when she steps out onto the red carpet, and she does so in a way that few other women can. Other A-listers, such as Denise Richards, have admitted to trying to enhance these areas to create the illusion of curves.

A Slim And Straight Nose

There are plenty of other facial features that make an actress' job a lot easier. While the mouth is important, the nose is also pretty crucial. Without a cute and relatively small nose, most actresses will find it very hard to reach the top of the acting industry. Sadly, we live in a world today that is obsessed with perfection, and this is in large part to all the perfect celebrities we see in movies and on TV.

But how many of them have naturally perfect noses? A fair few, to be honest. When considering all the beautiful actresses who have cute noses, there's a huge range to choose from. One name that comes up a lot when it comes to nice noses is Kate Hudson. Her cute nose is verging on perfection. But other actresses, such as Blake Lively, have allegedly had some enhancements in this area.

Beautiful Tanned Skin

Skin is another vastly important physical feature when it comes to A-list female celebs. It's also probably one of the most understated features when it comes to beauty. Sure, you can use makeup to cover up your blemishes and pimples, but the top female celebrities all make sure their skin is naturally flawless. Some of them use all kinds of methods to get it done.

Tanned, olive skin is definitely a trend right now. It seems like the ideal these days is slightly caramel-toned, sun-kissed skin, and a lot of actresses are trying to artificially achieve this by spray tans, tanning salons, and other methods. But others, such as Rihanna, has been blessed with this natural, beautiful and flawless skin since birth. You might be surprised to learn that others, such as Jessica Alba, do not have that tone of skin naturally!

Eyebrows On Fleek

Other features that get a lot of attention from actresses and regular women alike these days are eyebrows. Most guys have no idea how much time some women spend on making their eyebrows look perfect, and it's one of those little details that you don't see unless you look really closely. Nice eyebrows are essential to pretty much ever popular and famous actress today.

Some women are born with naturally beautiful eyebrows, while others have to work to achieve them. Charlize Theron is one example of an actress who seems to have been born with amazing eyebrows. They're the perfect shape and size. Others, such as J-Lo, have to go to an aesthetician to get their eyebrows professionally altered, threaded or shaped.

Full, Long Eyelashes

Directly below eyebrows are eyelashes, and these have been linked with women's beauty since the beginning of time. Batting your eyelashes does something inexplicable to men, and it certainly has a stunning effect when done by an actress who knows what she's doing in front of the camera. Naturally pretty and long eyelashes are a powerful weapon in an actress' arsenal.

One actress who seems to have been blessed with amazing natural lashes is Mila Kunis. This A-lister is of Eastern European ancestry, and she loves to show off her amazing eyelashes both in her movies and on the red carpet. Others, such as Jennifer Lawrence, have to resort to fake eyelashes to achieve the same kind of effect, which Mila Kunis pulls off so effortlessly.

A Camera-Ready Physique

Another physical feature we see on almost all A-lister female celebrities these days is a slim and athletic body. Some women are a little more curvy than others, but they all have the same thing in common – they are all in great shape. By far the most common body type in Hollywood is on the slimmer side. Because the camera tends to "add ten pounds," as they say, looking fit is important.

Some celebrities seem to be naturally on the thin side, while others have to work to achieve this body shape. Megan Fox claims that she doesn't do anything to maintain her figure, saying, "I don't have a special diet. I just sort of exist and survive. I'm 23. I'm prepared for when I hit 28 and I've got to change my whole thing. But, for now, if I can get away with it, I’m going to do it.” Others, such as Demi Moore, follow a strict diet to stay on the slimmer side.

Staying Fit And Athletic

But being slim is often not enough. Sometimes, in order to really get your name out there and attract attention in the movie business, you have to be both slim and muscular, or at least be pretty fit. Almost every actress today undergoes some kind of fitness regimen, and it's just part of being in show business. We're constantly seeing A-lister celebs coming out of the gym, or talking about their new workouts in interviews.

Some actresses seem to be blessed with natural muscle mass, or so they claim. One example is Salma Hayek, who once stated, "I don't have time to exercise. I am working. I've had some 20-hour days. I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long. So even when you brush your teeth, you're working the muscles." Others, such as Jessica Biel, must get fit the old-fashioned way – by working out extremely hard.

Enchanting Eyes

We've talked about eyebrows and we've talked about eyelashes, so it only seems logical to talk about the actual eyes. It's hard to stress how important eyes are in the world of acting. They say eyes are the "windows to the soul," and so it makes sense that these are very important tools for every skilled actress. Eyes tell the story, they convey emotion, and they can be incredibly beautiful. Most actresses have absolutely stunning eyes.

But believe it or not, not all actresses have naturally beautiful eyes. While some, like Elle Fanning, have been blessed by beautiful, blue eyes that seem almost too good to be true, others weren't so lucky. One example is Jennifer Aniston, who was born with brown eyes. She regularly uses colored contacts to enhance her look, and her color of choice is blue.

Full, Long, Curly Hair

Blonde hair is obviously the most common color of hair for female actresses today, but what about the style? While some actresses love to rock the straightened look, curly hair is definitely in right now. On the red carpet, the most common hairstyle is beautiful waves or curves. And while some actresses try to get curly hair done in the salon, others were just born with it. Curly hair has a sense of exotic wildness to it, and its beauty is quite stunning.

There are plenty of actresses today who have naturally curly hair, although it is still pretty rare. Few can pull off their natural curls without looking too wild and disheveled, but Vanessa Hudgens is one of them. She doesn't have to go to the salon to get curls; she was born with them, and they look quite stunning. Other actresses, such as Emma Stone, have to get a perm if they want to wear their hair in waves on the red carpet. Many actresses also get extensions to add more volume to their hair, while others were born with a full, healthy head of hair.

A Slim Waistline

This is perhaps the rarest and most sought after physical feature when it comes to A-lister female celebrities. A slim waist has been seen as the ideal for centuries, and it led to fashion trends like the corset. Although women don't wear those anymore, they still strive to have toned abs and a small waist, and it's a common trait with some of the most famous A-list celebs.

Some women managed to win the genetic lottery in this regard, and Kendall Jenner is certainly one of them. Although she doesn't flaunt it, you can clearly see that she has one of the slimmest waists in the business. This trait definitely serves her well in her modelling career. Other models go to extreme lengths to "fake" a slim waist. One example was Miranda Kerr, who seemingly photoshopped her Instagram photo to make her waist seem thinner.

Being Tall Doesn't Hurt

While we're talking about models, we might as well mention one trait which has been universally lined to female beauty – height. It's well known that to become a fashion model, you need to be tall. Girls taller than 5'9 are the norm in the modelling world, and it's true that there's something glamorous and goddess-like about tall women. Although it's less common in the acting world, many successful beauties are taller than average.

One clear example is Gisele Bundchen, an incredibly successful fashion model and Victoria's Secret Angel. She is 5'11, just shy of six feet, and she looks insatiable with those long legs of hers. Others, such as Ariana Grande, are not so lucky. She's merely 5 feet tall, and she admits that she's addicted to wearing heels as a result. She even wears 6 inch heels to try to make herself seem taller. She admits that she wears heels so much that she can do almost anything in them, saying, “I think there’s something wrong with me, for sure. If you wanted me to I could, like, run [in heels]. I mean, I can get to A to B fast.”
