When the couple shared their apparently racist theme for their wedding people were understandably a little miffed, but the pair managed to skate by that scandal fairly quickly.

After Kim Kardashian's well documented difficulties with the pregnancies for daughter North and son Saint, it was not an enormous surprise when Kim and husband Kanye West announced that they would be having a third child via a surrogate. However the couple's baby news started making some serious waves when it was revealed that the pair, who are worth an estimated $335 million dollars together, were only paying their surrogate less than $100,000 total to carry their child. Not only that, but reportedly the surrogate wasn't even aware that she was carrying Kim and Kanye's child when the surrogacy first began, and Kim only decided to come forward and meet the surrogate face to face in case she wasn't a fan of Kim or Kanye. And while the low pay for such a big job does seem like a bit of a shock, there are actually some heated debates about how much surrogates can be paid or whether or not they should be paid at all.

Chrissy Teigen And John Legend

In one of the weirdest celebrity couple scandals that managed to make this list, lovey-dovey married couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen were linked to the Pizzagate incident by some right wing "investigative journalists." For those of you who are unfamiliar with Pizzagate, it was a right wing conspiracy theory that a Washington DC pizza place was actually a front for a child trafficking ring, and it went from nutty to tragic when an extremist went to the restaurant and started opening fire because of the "theory." The insanity was most closely linked to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, but when Hillary supporters Legend and Teigen dressed up their daughter Luna as Alice in Wonderland a professional nut job by the name of Liz Conkin alleged that it was some sort of signal in their involvement in Pizzagate. After threatening a lawsuit Conkin backed off of her claims, but it is still a profoundly disturbing situation for the couple to be dragged into.

Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos

Soap stars Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa have been working in the entertainment industry for more than half their lives, and seem to have their hands in quite a few different pots. However, the couple produced their own reality show called Fire Island for the LGBTQ network Logo. The show only lasted for one season, but Ripa and Consuelos tried to distance themselves from the production after one of the show's stars decided to take part in an inappropriate video that was partially "inspired" by the reality show itself. After the show's cancellation the pair seemed to drop any public mention of their involvement, but many assume that a big contributing factor to that was the adult film that was about to be released that included one of the show's main stars and even took part of its title from the failed reality show. It's understandable for a couple who relies on their generally wholesome appearance, but it sounds like it's anything but wholesome.

Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle seem absolutely over the moon about their relationship and impending marriage, but that doesn't mean that getting there was easy or went off without a hitch. While the royal family has had to evolve with the times, Markle was a controversial match for the prince for a few different reasons, and her incorporation into the British royal family is truly unprecedented. Football player Tom Brady and Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen seem like a picture perfect match, but the progression of their relationship certainly wasn't as picture-perfect as the couple might want the world to believe. Gisele says that she was head over heels for the quarterback almost as soon as they started dating, but things almost immediately hit the skids when it was revealed that Tom's previous ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, was pregnant with Brady's first child. Gisele reportedly considered ditching Brady and their relationship when she found out about the pregnancy, but in the end Tom's willingness to ditch his pregnant girlfriend wasn't enough to put Bündchen off for good.
