One of the most successful couples in not only the entertainment industry but the world at large, Jay-Z and Beyoncé have a combined net worth of $1.6 Billion dollars. In other words, while the average person may dream of owning high-priced items such as planes and mansions, Jay-Z and Bey probably own several (or they could if they wanted to). That said, what could be more fun than fawning over a vehicle you definitely can’t afford? How's about taking inventory of their complete collection?

Not a couple to be easily outdone, Jay-Z and Beyoncé own quite a few outrageously-priced videos. You’ve seen them in videos, at appearances, in home movies, and certainly all over social media but you may not have known which ones were actually theirs or how much they’re worth. Moreover, given that several of them are rare or even customized to be "one of a kind", it can be argued that some of these vehicles are essentially priceless. Either way, this couple has one of the most impressive, combined car collections in the entire music industry.

Over the years, we've seen them go through an array of ups and downs. Indeed, the whole Lemonade album was an epic moment for women but certainly not the finest hour for the couple. Nevertheless, they are still as "ride or die" as the ''03 Bonnie and Clyde" that helped launch Beyoncé as a solo artist and introduced the couple to the world. That said, let's take a closer look at the car collection of this now infamous couple.

Jay-Z's Rolls Royce Phantom - $400K

Although he literally owns the most expensive vehicle available, none of Jay-Z's cars are as "gangster" as the Phantom Rolls Royce. An automobile of epic proportions, the Phantom is said to be named because this often-all-black luxury mobile is so sparkly and reflective that when it glides passed you on the street, it almost gives the appearance that there is no one behind the wheel.

Given that hip-hop is a highly flashy genre of music that favours theatrics and magical moments, it makes perfect sense that this is still one of the most coveted rides within the hip-hop community. Peppered throughout the lyrics of a wide array of artist’s lyrics, the Phantom has already been rhymed into infamy. Hov has had one for well over a decade, just so you’re sufficiently jealous…

Jay-Z's Tesla Model S - $75K

You can't call yourself a new age mogul without owning at least one electric car. For Jay-Z, his weapon of choice was the Tesla Model S. Complete with a black paint job and black after-market wheels, it seems Jay-Z tries to stick to his "all black everything" motto more often than not.

One of his quieter acquisitions, it seems ole' Hov is becoming more tight-lipped with regards to his vehicular purchases as he matures. Either way, when Beyoncé posted this photo on Instagram, this confirmed everyone's suspicion that he had actually purchased the Tesla S. Who knows what this means for the older model cars in his collection. Either way, the future of hip-hop just might be brought to us via an electric vehicle. Now that’s “gangster”!

Hov's Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet - $120K

Considered one of the most epic Porsche's in existence, the Porsche 911 is essentially the Porsche prototype. Certainly not the most expensive car in their collection, however, this car does fall in line with the Carter’s love for classic cars as well as their need for speed.

The model was first introduced in 1963 and stays fairly true to its original sign to this very day. With no less than 90% of the components from the original, this car is simultaneously a classic and new age gem. For this reason, car and Ferrari enthusiasts covet this model. Either way, with just one look at this baby, it should be clear that it fits right in amongst the Carter’s collection of mostly black and metallic super vehicles.

Bey's Mercedes SLR - $507K

A super car fit for a super star, Bey's Mercedes SLR is certainly not one to be slept on. A result of a joint effort between McLaren and Mercedes-Benz, this limited-edition whip is a stand-out in their collection.

Given that only 3500 of these were built, it's highly unlikely that the average person will ever even smell the fumes coming out of this thing. Moreover, it was only in production for 7 years (from 2003-2010) so, in order to get one, you’ll have to find one for sale first. Either way, with its highly powerful V8 engine 5-speed transmission, as well as the ability to go from 0-60 in just 3.4 seconds, you just may get to witness one speeding down a highway near you.

 Hov's Pagani Zonda F - $670K

One of the rarest cars in existence, many automobile aficionados would label this the crown jewel of anyone's car collection. However, with a price tag of a whopping $670K, it's not hard to see why this is not a car for just anyone.

This so-called "supercar" comes equipped with a Mercedes Benz AMG 7.3-liter V12 cylinder engine (capable of going from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds), it should be clear why this car was made especially for superstars such as this couple. Did I mention she can go up to 214 miles per hour? Named after the famous race car driver, Juan Manuel Fangio, the Pagani has called this supercar a “gem of luxury”. Yeah...I doubt you'll see this one weaving in and out of your local neighbourhood traffic anytime soon. Unless, of course, you live in the Hamptons.

Jay-Z 's Jeep Wrangler - $80K

Did you know Mr. Carter almost had his very own line of Jeeps? It's true. The Jay-Z Jeep was almost a thing! However, the Chrysler company ended up having a change of heart, due to the rapper's drug-dealing past. This surely annoyed the rapper as his past has never been a secret. Anyhow, perhaps this is the reason why Hov and Bey appeared years later with this "custom" jeep, with the doors and the roof missing.

Just take a listen to his music, and it's clear this is meant to be a jab at the value of the car in relation to his own fortune. This is not unlike the Maybach Jay and Yeezy ruined in the "Otis" video, after the company failed to provide one for the video. The Maybach, however, was later auctioned off for charity.

Hov's Birthday Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

A birthday gift from his equally loaded wife, Hov's birthday Bugatti is truly a sight to behold. You've often heard this brand of vehicle peppered throughout the lyrics of various members of hip-hop's elite, so, it should come as no surprise that Bey carried this car note to the tune of a whopping $2 million.

Furthermore, despite already having an impressive car collection, the rapper was said to be absolutely thrilled with this vehicle. Still considered the world's fastest production car, the Bugatti Veyron was clocked at an astounding 264 mph during test runs. However, production versions are said to be digitally limited to 258 mph. Bummer. Either way, the couple most likely spent the better part of his 41st birthday weaving in and out of traffic.

 Bey's Vintage (Silver Cloud) Rolls - $1M

A vintage Rolls Royce gifted to her by her hubby, Beyoncé's Silver Cloud Rolls Royce seems to be one of her favorite ways to travel. Of course, this could be due to its obvious sentimental value, as it was given to her as a 25th birthday gift. (Also, it was delivered with the sign, "reserved for Mrs. Carter" on the front seat...how sweet!).

However, I'm thinking the bells and whistles have a bit to do with it. Either way, she has been photographed in and near it quite a few times. Extremely fast, it is able to go from 0 to 60 in 10.9 seconds. (Maybe the Carters are fixated on being able to get away from their crazed fans quickly?) Said to be one of the most sought after vintage vehicles in existence, the sky blue leather interior only adds to the appeal of this now iconic ride.

Hov's Maybach Exelero - $8M

With a price tag of $8 million, it's not hard to understand why the average person will likely never sit anywhere near a Maybach Exelero. A two-seater coup that can reach up to 200-miles-per hour, this Bonnie and Clyde mobile will likely not transport Blue Ivy anytime soon.

One of the few owners of this exclusive vehicle, rapper/mogul Birdman is also an owner, but is said to be in a bit of tax trouble these days and it has also been alleged that he failed to pay the full $8 million cost for the car. Either way, this is a very high-performing vehicle that not just anyone can get their hands on. Created as a modern interpretation of their streamlined sports car from the 1930’s, this car was featured in Hov’s “Lost One” video, which was prior to when he purchased the car.

The Family (Mercedes Benz Sprinter Limousine) Van - $90K

When you think of a family van, you likely think of a some washed up minivan with a "soccer mom" bumper sticker and an array of stains on the interior. However, this is hardly the case with the Carter family sprinter Benz-limo! Blue Ivy and the twins are riding in style in this thing.

Not only is it pretty to look at but it includes Direct TV, Wi-Fi, as well as a $150,000 stereo system (to play many of their parent's greatest hits, of course), as well as a full bathroom that includes a sink, toilet, and even a shower! One of the best family vans I've ever seen, this baby is probably better than some of the apartments it drives by in NYC. However, it probably doesn't cost too much more...

Bey's Black Cadillac Escalade - $87K

A staple in the Carter family for quite a while, in addition to owning an Escalade, it seems they also like to rent them when they’re on the road. While Bey has been photographed in front of her own, while on tour, there have also been quite a few instances in which they have been halfway around the world and still ended up in similar looking black Escalade SUV's.

Of course, this truck is fab and fit for a queen. However, I believe this is one of the most practical cars they own. Most likely purchased due to its unassuming appearance, black SUV's with tinted windows are the vehicle of choice amongst members of the elite who wish to travel safely and without being seen.

Jay-Z's S-Class Mercedes Benz - $35K

A car that appeared in one of his most notorious tracks, during his epic run with former friend/business partner, Damon Dash and Rock-a-fella Records, the S-Class was a prominent prop in his video (and also earned him major props in real life), "IZZO".

Purchased during a time in which being a family man was not a reality, this gem is what Hov meant when he was talking about "big pimpin' and spending gees". Either way, the S-Class appears in the videos in a sea of half-naked women, parade floats, as well as a dancing Gloria Velez. How could this car not be considered a hip-hop classic?! Well, I doubt Beyoncé has the same view of this. Nevertheless, I’m betting this is tucked away somewhere waiting for Sir Carter to grow up.

Bey's Red Ferrari F430 Spider - $100K

A gorgeous convertible perfect for the queen Bey, the Ferrari is one of those cars people just have to get when they feel they've "made it". Seriously, what could be better than a red convertible? A super sexy super car, with tons of speed and even nearly unbreakable brakes, this car was originally unveiled in 2005.

Ferrari's 21st convertible, it's no wonder Beyoncé wanted this to be one of her "grown woman" cars. Although it seems to have been eclipsed by other more expensive and exciting purchases, this car is a true classic that deserves recognition. Moreover, it’s important to note that it’s one of the few red cars the Carter’s have so, it’s highly likely they don’t use this car unless they really want to be seen. Did I mention, she goes to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds?!

Jay-Z's Bombardier Challenger 850 - $50M

OK, so this certainly doesn't qualify for most people as a "vehicle" but how can you do a rundown of the Carter's transportation and not mention this baby?! A Father’s Day gift to the now father of three, this PJ is fully loaded, as is should be, to justify its ridiculous $50 million price tag.

Able to fit up to 15 additional passengers, this private jet is almost big enough to serve the general public. Furthermore, the jet includes a living room (decorated in cream leather), as well as a kitchen, a bedroom, and two bathrooms! With all these bells and whistles, it's a wonder they don't rent it out to tiny home enthusiasts. However, in the words of the queen Bey herself, "Take it to another level no passengers on my plane". Although it technically belongs to ole' Hov, this jet is certainly fit for the R&B diva as well.

Those Mountain Bikes, Tho...

OK, so we can't end the list without addressing this cuteness. Despite being one of the richest couples in rap, the Carters are regularly photographed on various biking excursions. And the best part about it? They are not at all expensive of exclusive bikes. Nope! The Carters have been rolling around on "regular degular" mountain bikes in various areas of the world.

Most notoriously, jay-Z was spotted alone rolling around on a bike in Brooklyn. Moreover, the couple even went out on a biking excursion while in Hawaii, with Blue in tow. Certainly not a bad way to stay in shape, let's just hope this is a sign that all that cash still hasn't gone to their heads. However, in the wake of their recent Grammy appearance, many maintain that Blue actually runs the show.
