If there’s one thing we can count on, it's Taylor Swift acting like a complete savage when she's ticked off. She’s skewered other celebrities who have talked trash about her and if you're an ex-boyfriend of hers, good luck to you. She takes all of those poor boys down. She really doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her if she has something to say — she uses her song lyrics to make her point. Now her revenge album has come out and everyone is running scared, or at least they should be. When it comes to her recent album, she has a lot to say and that’s not surprising. It’s how she expresses herself. We’ve seen a lot of drama and scandal in the past because of something she put on one of her albums. We don’t mind, after all, it’s a little funny. But some people do mind, especially if they are a former lover.
In the past few years, she has tangled with exes, had a feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, and even took on Apple for a little bit. Just all in a day’s work for this beautiful songstress. We can’t blame her; she has a lot of power in Hollywood, especially with her click of gals — it would be hard not to wield it at your enemies. Not only has she moved beyond taking down her boyfriends, she is taking her revenge on anyone that she wants.
15 She Admits To Cheating
Taylor Swift might seem innocent at times, but she has proven over the years that she isn’t at all. She can be totally savage when she wants to be. It’s looking like she did, in fact, cheat on Calvin Harris with Tom Hiddleston. While she was dating Harris, she was photographed dancing at the Met Ball with Hiddleston, though at the time, it all looked pretty innocent. The next thing we know, the two have broken up with a Tweet that said, “The only truth that remains here is a relationship came to an end and what remains is a huge amount of love and respect.” Then all of a sudden, Harris is on social media losing his mind. The lyrics to her song "I Did Something Bad" pretty much says it all. “They say I did something bad. Then why does it feel so good? Most fun I ever had. I’d do it over again if I could.”
14 Bad Blood
At one point, Taylor Swift thought she and Katy Perry were friends. That was until Perry started poaching her backup dancers right in the middle of her tour. That’s what apparently started the whole feud between them. "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational — you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it." So, Swift did what she does best and wrote a song about it. We all remember her popular song, "Bad Blood.?" After that, Perry released a perfume called Mad Love, which is supposedly about a lyric in Swift’s song that said, "You know it used to be mad love." The feud still continues to this day.
13 She Made Harris A Lot Of Money
There is nothing that a guy hates more than to hear his ex-girlfriend tell everyone that she is the reason why he made money. Men have a lot of pride when it comes to money and their career and Taylor Swift had no problem taking her ex Calvin Harris down a notch or two. A lot of creatives, when they date, will often work together as well. When it comes to Swift, she took the credit for the hit track that Harris released, "This Is What You Came For," and used the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg. Harris had no intention of letting the world know that he had Swift’s help. He said on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, “You know, we haven’t even spoken about (collaborating). I can’t see it happening, though. No.” Swift wasn’t about to let that fly and when she started talking, Harris accused her of trying to bury him.
12 She Took Down Kim Kardashian
We all know the drama between Kanye West and Taylor Swift, but it’s now transferred to Kim Kardashian as well. After all, Kim’s been defending her man and even released the recorded phone call that Taylor made to Kanye. All bets were off as far as Swift was concerned, and Kim should have known there would be some revenge in store for her. So out came the track, "Look What You Made Me Do." Fans started talking about the track and are loving it so far. “Taylor was out there taking notes when Stan witter thought Kim ended her,” wrote one person. “Taylor Swift is coming for blood, and she won't settle for less. #LookWhatYouMadeMeDo,” another posted. The funny part is that Swift holds all the power and even if they want revenge, there isn’t a whole lot Kim and Kanye can do about it.
11 Rihanna Feud
It seems as if there is a feud brewing between Taylor Swift and Rihanna. It hasn’t got as ugly as the Katy Perry feud, but there’s potential for Swift to get a little crazier once she’s finished being savage to everyone else. Rihanna’s hit song "What You Came For" was apparently handed to her by Swift, and Swift isn’t letting her forget it. But Rihanna responded by saying that she doesn’t think Swift’s that “good.” She stated, “I don’t think I would (join Taylor’s Squad). I just don’t think it makes sense. I don’t think our brands are the same: I don’t think they match, I don’t think our audiences are the same. In my mind, she’s a role model, I’m not.” Of course, Swift retaliated by writing a song about it called "Ready For It." Swift is just so savage; she doesn’t care who she takes down.
10 Joe Jonas Burn
Anyone who dates Taylor Swift has to know that if things don’t work out, then they are likely to be skewered publicly in the most savage way. After all, we’re not sure she has let any of them go without destroying their name in some way. Joe Jonas was, of course, no exception. Swift got her heart broken in 2008 when Jonas broke up with her in a 27-second phone call. Talk about cold. He then immediately started dating Camilla Belle right after, which put the last nail in his own coffin. Swift wasn’t about to let him get away with it, though. Swift went on a few talk shows and was open about her feeling for Jonas and wrote four songs about his betrayal. She also told MTV this about her exes, "If they don't want me to write bad songs about them, they shouldn't do bad things." Enough said.
9 She Used Tom Hiddleston
No one would ever have thought that someone like Tom Hiddleston could be used but apparently, if anyone can do it, it’s Taylor Swift. The rumor is, Swift hooked up with Hiddleston as an excuse to get away from Calvin Harris. When the two of them met at the Met Ball, they were dancing away to their heart's content. He was wearing a black suit and she was in a gorgeous metallic dress. Her track "Getaway Car" told the story of their first meeting: “The ties were black, the lies were white. In shades of grey in candlelight. I wanted to leave him. I needed a reason.” Then she released "I Did Something Bad" and we got the rest of the story: “I let them think they saved me. They never see it coming. What I do next. This is how the world works. You gotta leave before you get left.” It sounds like she was planning on leaving Harris long before he had any idea.
8 She Humiliated John Mayer
No one could believe it when John Mayer and Taylor Swift got together. After all, Mayer is known to be a playboy with no real intentions of having a long-term girlfriend. But Swift went for it anyway. At the time, Mayer was 32 and Swift was only 19, so no one was surprised when it all fell apart. Swift attacked him in a song called “Dear John,” that talks about how Mayer manipulated her, leaving her many regrets. Mayer, of course, disagreed with the things she said. "It really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down," Mayer told Rolling Stone. "I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?" Oh, poor Mayer, forgive us if we don’t feel sorry for the well-known playboy.
7 They Were Playthings
If you haven’t figured it out by now, Taylor Swift is a savage and sometimes, she does things just for the fun of it all. With this new album, Swift is letting it all hang out. It’s kind of funny when she starts referring to her boyfriends as just “playthings.” She makes reference to the older men she's dated and we have to wonder who she’s talking about between Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Calvin Harris, and Tom Hiddleston. On her track “Don’t Blame Me,” she sings “I’ve been breaking hearts a long time, and toying with them older guys. Just playthings for me to use.” So, were Harris and Hiddleston just playthings as well? Her track "King Of My Heart" says it all: “All the boys and their expensive cars. With their Range Rovers and their Jaguars. Never took me quite where you do.” Those are the cars they both drove. This girl is just savage.
6 They Are Too Old
When we say Taylor Swift is savage, it’s because, even though she dates these guys, she will state that they're old geezers afterward. These days, Swift is linked to the cutie pie Joe Alwyn who is 26 years old, which is pretty young for Swift. Most of the men in her life have been older, but now that she is dating Alwyn, she is making fun of the older men she's dated. In her video "Ready For It?," she goes through a door and the numbers '91’ and '89’ are painted on the walls. Those just so happen to be the birth years of her and Alwyn. We suppose she’s turning a whole new page when it comes to who she dates. We wonder if any of her older men regret dating such a young girl.
5 If You're Not With Her, You're Against Her
When it comes to being Taylor Swift’s friend, you're also expected to be loyal to her squad and hate on people she hates. There’s a thing going around called Team Taylor and people want to know whose side you're on. When it came to Swifts epic feud with Katy Perry, P!nk got dragged into the feud and was asked to take sides. She also wouldn’t be the first friend that was asked to prove her loyalty. P!nk isn’t part of Taylor’s squad, but she still sided with her. When KISS FM asked P!nk if she was Team Taylor or Team Katy, she was a bit thrown off. “Taylor? Is that okay?” Pink said.“ You can’t win no matter what you say, anyway. Everyone wakes up offended,” the singer added.
4 It’s Tom’s Fault
Taylor Swift has no problem with placing the blame where it needs to be. When Swift and Tom Hiddleston got together, it caused quite the media storm. People were taking pictures of them everywhere and the couple didn’t seem too concerned about it. That is, until they broke up and Swift starting placing the blame on Hiddleston for the media storm. Apparently, there were rumors going around that Tom was using Swift for her fame. He did this to try to secure the role of the next James Bond. Swift didn’t like all the media attention, especially when it even followed them to his mother’s place in England. She wrote a song that said, “A circus ain’t a love story and now we’re both sorry.” It sounds like she was unimpressed for sure.
3 She Dissed Katy Perry
It doesn’t seem like Swift is finished taking down Katy Perry. Perry attempted to insult Swift in her Witness album, but it didn’t matter much after it turned out to be a flop. That sucks, right? Swift wasn’t about to let it go, however, she wanted to speak her mind again. Perry must have felt pretty low after her album flopped, so it was perfect timing for Swift to attack. When Swift released “Look What You Made Me Do,” the video showed her basically killing off a knocked-off version of Katy Perry in a car crash. Ouch! If you see the video, it’s apparent that it’s supposed to be Perry. Swift is dressed in a leopard print coat with short blonde hair and bright lipstick. It’s just one part of the complete savagery that takes place on the Reputation album.
2 She Attacks Everyone
Considering all the bad publicity Swift has got lately, she can still nab a leading man. She assumes he’s with her not for fame, fortune or to get her to do work for him. She assumes because of the bad publicity that he must really like her, otherwise, he would be running for the hills. On the track “Delicate,” we see more into the relationship between Alwyn and Swift and for now, anyway, it seems genuine. The video shows her in court being crucified and it’s supposed to reference her relationship with Calvin Harris. Many people also think that she’s referencing her feud between Kim and Kanye, as well. Of course, there were those epic lyrics on the “Famous” track. So, on the “Delicate” track we hear her sing, “My reputation’s never been worse, so he must like me for me.”
1 She Takes Down Kanye
Of course, the feud between Kanye and Taylor Swift is still going on and the addition of Kim certainly doesn’t help. The feud is still going strong, however, and Swift has no problem calling Kanye a backstabber and a narcissist. We told you this girl was savage. Kanye doesn’t help himself, of course, he stole her thunder at the MTV Music Video Awards and then, of course, his “Famous” track made it clear that he believed that he was the reason Swift was famous. Now, that’s pushing it. But like always, Swift always gets even — she’s quite creative like that. On her track, "If I Did Something Bad" she says, “I never trust a narcissist but they love me,” which is supposed to be directed at the fact that Kanye is obsessed with her. She went on to another track where she sang, “It was so nice being friends again. There I was giving you a second chance. But you stabbed me in the back while shaking my hand. And therein lies the issue. Friends don’t try to trick you. Get you on the phone and mind-twist you. And so I took an axe to a mended fence.”
