No straight dude wants to be thought of as gay. It doesn't matter how progressive and tolerant the world becomes. Calling a straight dude gay or making a joke about him getting it on with another man is always going to be an insult, so people need to get over it. It has nothing to do with homophobia or intolerance toward gays. You can like gay people and respect gay people but not want to be thought of as gay yourself. The two ideas aren't mutually exclusive. It's the same way that I love women so much, in fact, that I think the world wouldn't be worth living in without them. But if someone mistook me for a chick, I'd take it as an insult. It isn't because I look down on women or think of them as less than men–quite the opposite, in fact–it's because, hell, I'm a freaking dude, and I'm happy with who I am.
I'm also happy being a dude who'd rather knock boots with a chick than with another dude. But is it really true that I'd never knock boots with another dude? I used to think the answer was an unequivocal yes. Then, this whole transgender thing got popular, and one day, out of boredom, I found myself burrowing down a transgender rabbit hole on Instagram. And what I found was, despite Caitlyn Jenner assuming the role of face of the transgender community, not all dudes who become chicks are as, shall we say, unappealing to straight dudes as she is. Some of them, if they approached me on the street or in a bar, although I'm embarrassed to say it, might be able to pick me up. Here are 15 hot AF transgendered women who could pick up any straight guy (even me).
15 Carmen Carrera
Okay, so her jawline is a little strong, and at five-foot-ten, she's on the tall side for a chick; especially, as in the above photo, when she's wearing heels. But other than that, Carmen Carrera doesn't stand out as having been born a dude, and if she walked into a dimly lit bar on a Friday night after you were a few beers in, are you really gonna notice anything other than her being hot? I don't know much about her personal life or if she's single and on the prowl. I read she's still in the transitioning process, which means it's not even clear whether she's gotten rid of the "family jewels." But if she's indeed out there trying to pick up straight dudes, I would lay down money she's not struggling.
14 Valentijn De Hingh
The square jaw and cleft chin arouse suspicion, but when I first saw the above picture of Dutch beauty Valentijn de Hingh, I was more focused on the lips. Had I not been actively searching for hot transgendered chicks, I would have never even known that she wasn't born female. It's hard to say, but I think I'd have been blissfully unaware, and I rank my ability to notice such things as about average for a straight dude. Which means, if a typical straight dude saw her on South Beach looking exactly as she does in the above photo, his transgender radar probably wouldn't be triggered. Which means, given she's hot, he'd probably score with her if he had the chance.
13 Ines Rau
Ines Rau, a French model of North African descent now living and working in New York City, is tan and buxom. The only thing that differentiates her from those chicks on Baywatch (either the original show from the '90s or the 2017 big screen remake that bombed at the box office) is being born a dude. But she had a gender reassignment surgeon take care of that when she was 16 years old, and she's been turning heads as a chick ever since. Some of her modeling work includes nude shoots. I haven't seen the pictures, but if someone's paying her to pose nude as a female and she looks good enough to pull it off, it stands to reason that she can walk into a bar and get a straight dude to go home with her.
12 Amiyah Scott
A decade or two ago, the sculpted definition of her triceps might have given Amiyah Scott away, if you could turn your eyes away from her gorgeous face long enough to notice them. But now, with the popularity of CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting among women, it's not unusual to see a chick with guns blazin'. So there's nothing that sets off alarm bells that Amiyah Scott is anything other than a really hot chick. The 29-year-old model started the transitioning process at age 17, which included breast, butt, and cheek implants. Her work includes bikini shots, and she's a frequent attendee at red carpet events where she fits in seamlessly with the world's hottest chicks. No way an average straight dude is blowing her off.
11 Claudia Charriez
Claudia Charriez is an international sensation who competed on America's Next Top Model and The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency TV shows in 2008. Although she didn't win either of the two modeling contests, the world took notice of her stunning looks and perfectly-shaped body. Later in the same year, she appeared on The Tyra Banks Show, competing against other transsexuals in a Top Model-style competition, this time taking top honors. Looking at her picture above and knowing what I know about dating websites and apps, Claudia is getting no less than 90 percent right swipes from dudes on Tinder and Bumble. And when those dudes find out she's actually a dude who later became a chick? Most will take pause for a second, then look at her pic again, be reminded of her hotness, and proceed as before.
10 Thalita Zampirolli
When you look closely at most of the chicks on this list, you can find visual evidence that they were once dudes. That doesn't mean it's easy to spot or that the chicks aren't hot regardless. But generally, there's something there–like a defined jaw, a high shoulder-to-waist ratio, or the vestiges of an Adam's apple–that give it away. With Thalita Zampirolli, Brazil's premier transgender supermodel, there's nothing of the sort. Everything about her is feminine, all the way down to the complete lack of incriminating bulge in the groin area. This chick, with her long, thin legs, and hourglass figure, lends strong evidence to transgender advocates' claims that some people were simply born the wrong s*x. I just can't imagine her as a dude.
9 Isis King
"Is your name Isis? Because, girl, you're terrorizing me with that body. Oh, your name really is Isis? And you're not technically a girl? Whatever. You free later?" When you look at Isis King's huge doe eyes, huge, luscious lips, and huge other features, it's hard to believe she used to be named Darrell Walls. Isis was the first transgendered woman to appear on America's Next Top Model, where she competed for two consecutive seasons, easily holding her own against the world's hottest undiscovered talent. She's so fine that we can overlook the irony of her being a transgendered woman who shares a name with an organization that beheads people for being transgendered. I'm sure she turns plenty of straight male heads wherever she goes.
8 Florencia De La V
Florencia De La V, an Argentinian model and soap star, has long shapely legs, a thick, flowing mane of hair, a gorgeous smile, an ample bosom, and used to be Roberto Carlos Trinidad. At 41 years old, she's one of the most popular and enduring transgendered actresses in the world. These days, her public appearances are fewer in number, as Florencia's focus is on being a wife and mother of 5-year-old twins. Although she and her husband–who's 100 percent straight, good-looking, successful, and had his choice of plenty of women, selecting Florencia over all of them–conceived the children via a surrogate, there are no doubt that thousands of straight men wouldn't mind trying for a baby with Florencia the regular way.
7 Chamila Asanka
Chamila Asanka is tall and moderately broad-shouldered. She also has a strongly defined jawline and a hint of a cleft chin. But she also has a couple of good assets to balance out her liabilities, and these are readily apparent in her many bikini shots floating around the internet. Imagine taking a beach trip to Destin with your buddies for the Fourth of July. Your goal is to take in some eye candy and, if things go well, perhaps engage in some carousing back in the hotel room. You set up your spot in the sand to bird-dog the chicks walking along the edge of the water. As you're scoping out the scenery, you spot Chamila strolling by, wearing the top she's pictured in above. Let's be honest. You're definitely noticing her, you're definitely turning your head to get another look, and, unless her hotness intimidates you, you're definitely approaching her.
6 Kim Petras
Kim Petras is a German pop singer who started the transition process from male to female at age 12 by receiving hormone treatments. She says that she has identified as a male for as long as she can remember. The easiest part of transitioning for Kim, born Tim, was the name change, which involved only a single letter. In 2008, at age 18, following six years of hormone therapy to develop female characteristics, she underwent "the surgery" to rid herself of the last vestiges of manhood. And she hasn't looked back. Popular with the EDM/dance music crowd in Europe, Kim is much hotter than many American female pop stars who were born women (cough, Miley Cyrus, cough) and while not much is known about her personal life, it's doubtful that she has any difficulty drawing interest from straight dudes.
5 Roberta Close
At 52 years old, Roberta Close proves that transgendered women can be hot cougars too. The Brazilian beauty has been turning men's heads since the 1980's. She made history by being the first preoperative transgendered woman to appear in Playboy magazine (the Brazilian edition). They used fancy angles and body positioning to capture a nude shot that obscured the "family jewels." In 1989, she had reassignment surgery, later being voted Brazil's most beautiful woman. To be clear, that was against all the women in the country, not just the transgendered ones, and everyone knows Brazil is famous for its hot women. In recent years, speculation has emerged over Roberta's s*x at birth, with some claiming she was born a hermaphrodite.
4 Jenna Talackova
Jenna Talackova is a Canadian transgendered beauty queen. With her long flowing blond hair, sizable bosom, and sultry smile, she reminds me of another Jenna whose "movies" I enjoyed thoroughly as a teenager (and, on occasion, still do). This Jenna represented Canada in the Miss International Queen Pageant. It's a beauty contest exclusively for transsexuals. But she was also a finalist for Miss Universe Canada, a move that engendered (no pun intended) some controversy at first. Most of the objections, however, came from people who hadn't seen her strut her stuff. Once those folks saw for themselves how hot she is, their complaints evaporated quickly. While she didn't win the competition, she used it as a springboard to a thriving modeling career. And we doubt she lacks for male suitors.
3 Nong Poy
Born male in Vietnam in 1986, Nong Poy has identified as a girl for as long as she can remember. She says she was grossed out by her boy parts as a kid, but fearing her parents' judgment, held off revealing her gender identity until she was in her teens. She had gender reassignment surgery at 17, after which she described a feeling of being reborn. You can see it in the smile on her face; this is a chick who's finally comfortable in her own skin. She won the Miss International Queen beauty pageant as well as the Miss Tiffany's pageant in 2004. And just look at her face. She's a true Asian beauty, and if you saw her even up close without knowing her background, there's no way you'd be able to tell that she was ever a dude.
2 Kelly Van Der Veer
Kelly van der Veer grew up in The Netherlands as a boy named Ferry who idolized Barbie. But this was in the 1980's when little to no awareness existed of gender identity. So her parents most likely thought she was merely a little girlish in her tendencies, or perhaps gay, but certainly didn't know to ask if she identified as female. So, she didn't transition until she was almost 20. That means she went through puberty as a male and stands over six feet tall. Doesn't matter. Candace Parker, the WNBA star, is six-foot-four and still fine, and Kelly is equally hot. She appeared on the television program Big Brother and also has a successful singing career. It's hard to imagine that she isn't equally successful with the male gender.
1 Candis Cayne
Candis Cayne was born Brendan McDaniel. That sounds like the name of a kid who'll one day be the starting quarterback at USC, not one who'll become a chick. But Brendan transitioned and became Candis in the 1990's. Despite being transgender before it was widely accepted, Candis was a fixture in New York City's swanky nightclub scene. She made the leap to TV star in the 2000's, playing a transgendered mistress on the hit show Dirty Sexy Money. As far as we know, she's the first transgender to play a transgender in a recurring role. As for her real personal life? She was engaged at least once and has been in several serious relationships, all with straight dudes, including her current boyfriend.
