Silentnight's new anti-snore pillow is getting some great reviews, and it'll only cost you a little more than $15 to give it a try.
Most of you reading this have likely experienced the pain of trying to sleep alongside someone who snores all night long. Sometimes you don't even need to be alongside them and the snoring is so loud that you can hear it from the next room or even down the hall. If you don't know what we're talking about, you're the snorer.
Like a lot of involuntary bodily functions we can't control, such as hiccups, there are a number of home remedies that might work or might not. When it comes to snoring, some of you might have given a few of them a go. Sewing tennis balls to your pajamas to stop you from sleeping on your back. Perhaps even sleeping with your head slightly elevated if you can.
While neither of those have been proven to work on a large scale, Silentnight's new anti-snore pillow has. At least if you go by the reviews the product has been getting, some of which have been collated by the Liverpool Echo. Users of the pillow, well actually those sleeping next to people using the pillow, have been dubbing it something of a lifesaver.
One happy customer wrote, "only had it one week but its already going on holiday with me as my husband says it works." The pillow has a soft core that repositions the head, similar to the home remedy mentioned above. However, the pillow seems to be a lot more effective. As with any product like this, however, it has not worked out for everyone.
One review reads "unless I place [the] pillow over [her] face can still hear [her] snore." Yeah, we wouldn't recommend using it to smother your significant other, no matter how loud they might be snoring. According to Silentnight, eight out of ten users of the pillow have been reporting positive results. Considering it will only set you back a little more than $15, we think that's a gamble worth taking.
