10 Premium Features Only The iPhone 11 Pro Has

It's that time again folks! Apple has just released new editions of the iPhone for all of us to clamor over. Every single time a new edition is released, Apple always manages to find a way to up their game. Even when you think a phone can't get better, the company is always brainstorming ways to make their phones cooler, more efficient, and easier to use. The iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro are the latest iterations of the iPhone, with the Pro version upping the ante the most. Here's a list of features you can get on the Pro that you can't get on any other phone!

10 Triple-Lens Cameras

You might have already heard people talking about this feature, as its the one that's most obvious at first glance. There are now not one, but three rear cameras! One camera has a wide lens, the other has an ultra-wide lens, and the third one has a telephoto lens. The regular iPhone 11 has the first two lenses, which has cool features like auto adjustments and night mode. The telephoto lens is only on the Pro, however, and this lens features 4x optical zoom. In other words, you'll be able to zoom in while taking a photo without losing any of the crispness and clarity. It'll also bring out highlights and shadows to suit the subject of the photo better.

9 Dual Optical Image Stabilization

The regular iPhone 11 has Optical Image Stabilization, which is pretty darn cool on its own. But since the iPhone 11 Pro has more cameras, it has dual optical image stabilization. Optical image stabilization means your phone will automatically get rid of blurriness and movement, fuse sharper images together, touch up the colors, get rid of any excess noise, and enhance details when you take a picture. On the regular iPhone 11, only one of the two lenses has this ability. On the Pro, you can simply tap through the various lens options on your phone so you can see what lens looks best before snapping a pic. More options = more stunning photos!

8 Longer Battery Life

With the iPhone 11 Pro, you can now go longer than ever without having to charge your phone. Increased battery life on the regular iPhone 11 was already an astronomical leap from previous iPhones, but the Pro is even better. To be specific, it can last up to 18 hours when playing videos, up to 11 hours when streaming video, and up to 65 hours when playing audio. The phone also charges faster, with the ability to go from 0% to 50% battery life in just 30 minutes. The regular iPhone 11 also has this ability, but the charger needed for it only comes in the box for the iPhone 11 Pro. Those who bought the regular iPhone 11 will have to buy the right charger separately.

7 Waterproof

The regular iPhone 11 can now be submerged in 2 meters -- or 6.5 feet --  of water and suffer no damage, which is pretty dang impressive! Of course, the iPhone 11 Pro has to take it one step further -- the Pro phone can be dunked into the water twice as deep and is able to keep working at four meters in. No more worrying about accidentally getting your phone wet! Even cooler? You can use the cool new cameras to take awesome photos while underwater, and your phone will continue to work just fine. Anyone up for scuba-diving?

6 New Color Options

Admit it: when it comes to selecting an iPhone to buy, the color options play a part! For the regular iPhone 11, your color options are purple, yellow, green, black, white, and red. The iPhone 11 Pro, on the other hand, mixes it up a bit: you can choose to get your phone in midnight green, silver, space grey, and gold.

The midnight green is a new color for Apple, so it's safe to say that if you want a phone that color, you really have no choice but to get the Pro.

5 More Storage Space

If you purchase a regular iPhone 11, you can choose from a phone with 64 gigabytes (GB) of storage space, 128 GB of storage space, or 256 GB of storage space. With the iPhone 11 Pro, your storage options are 64 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB. Just looking at the numbers, you might not think you need that much storage. But as many have learned, often you do! That annoying pop-up message telling you that you don't have enough storage? You can be notification-free by being proactive and investing in the 512 GB version of the Pro.

4 Extra Durability

With all the new iPhones, Apple is boasting extra durability. The phones are made of a type 0f shatter-proof glass that'll put all the times stressing about dropping your phone in the past. While both the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro are both said to have majorly improved in durability, the Pro might just be a liiiiiittle more protected. While the regular iPhone 11 has a frame made out of aluminum, the iPhone 11 Pro has a stainless steel frame. The back of the phone also has a matte finish, unlike the regular iPhone 11.

3 Richer Display

Apple has vastly improved the display for the iPhone. The phone now uses True Tone, which adjusts your display to the ambient lighting, and Haptic Touch, which is less pressure-sensitive to the previously used 3D Touch. The iPhone 11 Pro not only has those features but also a "Super Retina XDR" OLED display -- much sharper than the regular iPhone 11's "Liquid Retina HD" LCD display.

The Pro's display can brighten in the sunlight, support HDR movies on iTunes, and just appear more detailed in general. While displays on both phones have improved in comparison to previous releases, the Pro is just a tad bit cooler.

2 Ultra-Wideband Support

Okay, so this feature isn't exclusive to the iPhone 11 Pro as it also comes with the regular iPhone 11. But it's such a cool new addition worthy of a mention! For their latest releases, Apple created a new U1 chip that uses Ultra-Wideband technology. This is a fancy way of saying the phones have improved spatial awareness! It can easily recognize other phones with the U1 chip, making it easier to find the precise location of a lost phone or air-drop something to someone else just by pointing your phone at theirs. Apple likens the technology to a"GPS at the scale of the living room."

1 Faster Processing

This new feature is also a part of the regular iPhone 11, but it's just too notable not to bring up. The new phones have a new A13 bionic processor, a.k.a the fastest chip to ever be used in a smartphone. There are tons of stats to show you how much faster it works in comparison to the A12, but we'll try to summarize: the central processor runs six times faster, and the neural engine is 20 percent faster. This means a faster camera system, faster facial detection, faster apps and games, and more.
