But there’s always a chance you might miss something in your mad rush to make sure you don’t miss anything. That’s what weekly gossip recaps are for. From world-changing votes, to the end of an era in late night TV, to a scandal to end all scandals, there’s something for everyone. In case you missed it, here’s what was going on in the world of entertainment, and gossip while you were too busy living your own life to care.

10. Janice Dickinson Sues Bill Cosby for Defamation

It doesn’t seen like Bill Cosby will ever stop denying the rape accusations that keep coming out of the woodwork. As of right now, 45 women in total have accused him of sexual assault, but a lot of their stories are decades old. The statute of limitations make it unlikely Cosby will face any charges, but one of his accusers, Janice Dickinson, isn’t satisfied with that. She may not be able to charge him with rape, but she can charge him with defamation for calling her a liar. How she’s going to prove that is anyone’s guess.

You might remember that TLC cancelled their show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo not too long ago because star, Mama June, was associating with a convicted child molester. Now they’re in an even tougher position with one of their biggest shows, 19 Kids and Counting, starring the Duggar family. Last week, In Touch broke the story that eldest son, Josh Duggar, molested young girls when he was 14 and 15 years old. The speculation was confirmed by the Duggars themselves, and Josh released an apology. But what’s done is done. So, will TLC do the right thing and cancel the show? It’s only a matter of time until we find out.

The Late Show With David Letterman aired on CBS for 22 seasons, and May 20th was their final episode. His very last Top 10 list featured 10 A-list celebrities and was entitled, “Things I’ve Always Wanted to Say to Dave”. He thanked his wife, and son, Paul Shaffer and the band, and the Foo Fighters showed up to play his favourite song, “Everlong”. Letterman is set to be succeeded by Stephen Colbert, and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will premiere in September 2015.

7. Ireland Makes History with #HomeToVote

Ireland began voting Friday in a referendum on Gay marriage which will require an amendment to the Irish constitution. Opinion polls throughout the two-month campaign suggest the government-backed amendment should be approved by the required majority of voters when results are announced Saturday. Last week, Ireland made gay marriage legal by popular vote, the first country ever to do so. Irish citizens from all over the world were flying home so they could participate in the vote, and #HomeToVote trended on Twitter. Musician, Hozier, tweeted his support, as well as many non-Irish celebrities like Ellen Degeneres, Ellen Page, and Miley Cyrus. Twitter was full of people sharing their stories as they made their way to polling stations and voted Yes.

Model, Tess Holliday is currently on the cover of People magazine as the “World’s First Size 22 Supermodel”. Since getting signed to a major modelling agency in January, Tess has landed major campaigns with Benefit Cosmetics and Torrid. She represents a body type that is real, and is proud to be leading the “fat acceptance” charge. Her popularity has been controversial, with some people complaining that she’s “glamorizing obesity”, but she’s come a long way from her days of worrying what everyone thinks of her, and it’s clear the fashion world is ready to start representing all women instead of just one ideal.

If you’re a Harry Potter fan you remember awkward, goofy looking, Neville Longbottom. But did you know, Matthew Lewis, the actor who plays him, grew up to be extremely attractive? If you didn’t, then the current cover of Attitude magazine will come as a shock . He’s half naked on the cover, showing of his abs, and pecs, and strips down to just his underwear for the magazine spread. J.K. Rowling even had an opinion on the photos, tweeting jokingly, “Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God’s sake.”

Mean Girls fans everywhere wished they had $15 million to blow when it was announced last week that the Toronto mansion used as Regina George’s house in the movie was up for sale. Listed at $14.8 million the house is a “perfect balance of grandeur and elegance,” with a “20-foot cathedral ceiling in the great room,” a “wine cellar and wet bar” and a six-car garage to park your luxury vehicles. The house is located on Toronto’s high end Bridle Path surrounded by plenty of other multi-million dollar mansions.

Comic book fans take their movie casting news seriously. They want films to be as authentic and loyal to the source material as possible, but it’s hard to make everyone happy all the time. When Michael B. Jordan was cast as Johnny Storm in the latest reboot of the Fantastic Four, he knew there would be some backlash, considering the character was originally a blond haired, blue eyed, white guy. Instead of ignoring the criticism, Jordan penned a piece for Entertainment Weekly about his views on the subject. He gave some advice to the trolls of the internet, saying, “get your head out of the computer. Go outside and walk around. Look at the people walking next to you. Look at your friends’ friends and who they’re interacting with. And just understand this is the world we live in. It’s okay to like it.”

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen may have gotten their start playing Michelle Tanner on the 90’s sitcom, Full House, but they left acting behind a long time ago. They are millionaires thanks to their fashion labels and other business pursuits, meaning they don’t have to rely on a reboot of their 90’s show to make a little money. John Stamos is working with Netflix on Fuller House, but the Olsen twins have made it clear they don’t want to be involved, and that’s the end of that. But will the Tanner family be the same without little Michelle?

We all know Modern Family star, Sofia Vergara is dating True Blood hunk, Joe Manganiello now, but not long ago she was with a guy named Nick Loeb. The two had frozen a few embryos using her eggs and his sperm, and planned to use a surrogate to bring them to term. When they broke up, Vergara planned to have the embryos destroyed. Even though they had a written agreement than nothing would come of the embryos unless they both consented, a judge has granted Loeb the right to sue for custody of them anyway. Only time will tell whether he ends up winning his fight or not.
