Jennifer Lopez Signs $15 Million for American Idol Return

Jennifer Lopez is coming back to American Idol!

The Jenny From the Block singer is rumored to be coming back to the reality talent show after signing a $15 million deal, which made her one of the highest paid judges in the show.

Her fee is said to match that of Britney Spears who appeared as judge on the U.S. X Factor last year. It is $2 million shorter than what current American Idol judge Mariah Carey earned when she replaced Lopez last year.

Her five-year-old twins Max and Emme are going to start schooling and Fox saw this as a reason of approaching J-Lo to go back to the show.

J-Lo, who appeared as a judge in Seasons 10 and 11 along with Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson, is rumored to be returning along with former judge and country singer Keith Urban. They are set to replace Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj who announced that they will not return for Season 13.

The 44-year-old versatile performer has a net worth of $250 million. She earned $12 million a year when she was still on American Idol.
