Cory Monteiths Death Due to Financial Issues

The death of Glee star Cory Monteith shocked the whole entertainment industry. The 31-year-old actor was found dead in a Canadian hotel last July 13, 2013.

Canadian police said heavy drug use was the cause of his death. While other reports said the young actor suffered from financial issues which caused his sudden demise.

Cory, who is worth $2 million, was known for his character Finn Hudson on Fox’s TV series Glee. He earned at least $40,000 per episode and was expected to reach a net worth of $7 million due to the worldwide success of Glee.

He was sent to the rehab in 2009, the same year he was casted in Glee. Cory suffered from drug addiction and alcoholism since he was 14. Born in Alberta, Cananda, he had tried several minimum-paying jobs such as being a taxi cab driver and working at Wal-Mart.

He also had cameo roles in TV series Kyle XY in 2006-09, Smallville in 2001-2011 and Supernatural in 2005.
