8 Sir Philip Green

Sir Philip Green, owner of Topshop, is a multi-billionaire and spared absolutely no expense on his 60th birthday in Mexico. The four day beach fiesta is reported to have cost him over 6 million. The beach was patrolled by guards on jet skis to keep the paps and other riff raff out of the star studded event. Guests included Leo Dicaprio, Naomi Campbell, Kate Hudson, Simon Cowell and Kate Moss. He had pictures of his face projected onto 20 feet cliffs for his guests to look at and forced the guests to wear his brand logo on everything from robes to beach towels. Green brought in over 100 members of staff from London to ensure that the event ran smoothly and even had a nightclub built on the beach for his daughter, Chloe who turned 21 a few weeks after him. Robbie Williams, Carlos Santana, Enrique Iglesias, Cee Lo Green, Chris Martin and Stevie Wonder performed at the event.  He served a late night snack of imported Kobe beef burgers. The burgers were so lavish that they cost $50 each to make. The whole 4 day event was epic and each day had a host of new and over-the-top activities for guests to enjoy, including dancing on the beach until 6am under a grandiose fireworks display.

1 Kate Moss

Kate Moss is known for throwing epic birthday parties. Her 40th birthday was a four day 'Glastonbury' themed bash. This party featured rave tents, fire breathers, a psychic and 4 bands that represented a decade in Kate’s life. However, this pales in comparison to her 30th birthday. The party began with a long lunch with Kate and her closest girlfriends toasting bubbly and eating the finest cuisine before they took off to get ready for the night. The party was themed 'The Beautiful and the Damned' and Kate hired a team of makeup and hair artists to prepare her and her posse for the night. The party took place in two four storey mansions that were linked together by a vast courtyard. The party got so raucous that various noise complaints were registered around 2 am. After the complaints, Kate and about 50 party guests left the mansion to head back to her suite at Claridges. Party guests claimed that people would go into the room and them come out with a huge grin on their face. The party finally wound down around 8am.
