There is no proper definition available for a Skyscraper; clearly, they are tall buildings. The term depends on time and place, like in Amsterdam; only 40 meters tall building is called a "Skyscraper." Today in the list below, we have assumed buildings higher than 100 meters. 10 Kuala Lumpur - 244
The most famous building in Kuala Lumpur is the Petronas Towers. With a height of 425 meters, they are among the tallest buildings in the world. However, it is certainly not the only high-rise buildings in the city as there are a total of 244 buildings that are over 100 meters.

7 Chicago - 341
The Skyline of Chicago, with its many tall skyscrapers, is seen as one of the finest buildings in the world. The most famous building would be the Willis Tower at 424 meter. It was the tallest building in the world until 1998 and the highest in America until 2012. The new WTC; the One World Trade Center is still under construction but it is already higher in the meantime.

Tokyo is Japan's center of commerce, entertainment, education, finance and even car production. It is one of the busiest skylines in the world, and still growing.
2 New York - 794
New York is of course famous for its skyscrapers. The several most popular skyscrapers are the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Centre, the Chrysler Building, and the former World Trade Center which is currently being replaced by the "One World Trade Center." There are 794 buildings over 100 meters in New York in total. These have a combined height of 109,720 feet!
