10. Chalida Vijitvongthong


Chalida Vijitvongthong is an actress and model also known as Mint. She is of Thai,
Chinese and Indian descent. She made her television debut in 2006 when she
appeared in a supporting role in the series called Naruk. She had her first lead role
in 2010 in the show entitled Pathapee Leh Ruk. She also had the starring role in
Nuer Mek 2. She was awarded the Best Rising Actress in a Lakorn award during
the 2011 Top Awards. She has also appeared on the cover of FHM and MARS.

9. Farung Yuthithum


Farung Yuthithum is a model, student and beauty queen from Pathum Thani. She
won her first beauty contest in 2006 when she was crowned as Miss U-League while
attending Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. She then competed in
the 2007 Miss Thailand where she won first place. She represented her country in
that year’s Miss Universe contest where she placed in the top 15. She has had brief
appearances on television, particularly in the show called Sao 5.

She began acting when she was only 13 years old when she appeared in the

Nurses. Her most prominent role was in the critically acclaimed movie called Love
of Siam, a performance that won for Rattanapetch a couple of nominations for Best
Supporting Actress from the Kom Chad Luek Awards and the Thailand National Film
Association Awards. She was also in the 2008 movie entitled 4 Romance. Her most
recent roles were a couple of movies that she starred in called Pai in Love in 2009
and WHO R U? in 2010.

6. Supaksorn Chaimongkol


Supaksorn Chaimongkol is a model and actress from Bangkok. She is also known
as Kratae. The Thai stunner first appeared in the movie The Trek in 2002. She
was also cast in the movie Kunpan: Legend of the Warlord. Thanit Jitnukul, the       director of that film, loved her performance so much that he cast her in two more     movies, namely Art of the Devil and Andaman Girl. Her full name is Cynthia Carmen Burbridge and she is also known as Sirinya
Burbridge. Cindy Burbridge is a model and actress who first gained fame when
she represented Thailand in the 1996 Miss World competition. She has American,
Thai, Indian and British blood in her veins, though she grew up in Pattaya and
graduated from Bangkok University where she took up Public Relations. In 2005, she
appeared in the movie called The King Maker. She was a presenter for Channel V
International and has modeled for different brands and fashion houses like Chanel,
Celine, Gucci, Fendi, Lavenus, Lux, Nescafe, Omega and Mazda. She is now
married to the actor Byron Bishop.

4. Michele Waagaard


Her full name is Michele Ronja Waagaard. Michele Waagaard is a model, singer
and radio presenter. Born of Norwegian and Thai parents, she was adjudged as the
Model of the Year in 1995 by the teen magazine called The Boy. She was part of the
album called Teen 8 Grade A that was received warmly by critics and the public.
She then teamed up with three other girls who were part of the album to form the all-
girl band called JAMP. The band released two albums called JAMP and Bungorn
Ao Tae Dance before breaking up in 2001. Waagaard then became a runway model
and became a presenter for MTV Thailand. She also hosted a show in Norway. She
then went to London to host the fourth Global Battle of the Bands. She now works as
a radio presenter for a station in Bangkok.

3. Patchrapa Chaichua


Patchrapa Chaichua is an actress from Bangkok. She is also known as Aum. In
1997, she won HACKS, a beauty and talent contest that declared her as Miss HACK
1997. She made her acting debut in the 1997 television show called Manee Neua
Thai. Chaichua made her mark in 2003 when she won the TOP Award for Best
Leading Actress for her performance in So Sanae Ha. She followed it up in 2005
when she won another award for her lead performance in Pleung Payu. She was
again nominated the following year. All these led her to become the highest paid
actress in the country. She was also the sexiest woman of FHM from 2004 to 2006.

2. Paula Taylor


Her full name is Punlapa Margaret Taylor. Paula Taylor is an actress, model and
presenter of Thai and Australian descent. She started out as a VJ for Channel V
Thailand. She also starred in the movie The Memory. She became popular in Asia
after she participated in The Amazing Race Asia 2. It led to hosting stints, movie
roles and music video appearances not only in Thailand but also in the Philippines.
She is now married to Edward Buttery.

Sonia Couling is a model and television presenter from Bangkok. She is of English
and Thai descent. She started out as a commercial model for products like Seven-
Up, Olay, Nivea and L’Oreal. She then became a presenter and VJ for MTV Asia. In
2005, she became the producer and host of Thailand’s Next Top Model.
