Robin Williams is often known for his larger-than-life performances in movies. He probably ranks among the greatest comedians ever in Hollywood cinema. The star of Dead Poets Society, Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Nine Months, Good Will Hunting, Flubber, and Patch Adams has now decided to sell his estate at California’s Wine Country. It is going to fetch Robin some very serious money. He wants $29.9 Million from the sales. That’s less than what he initially wanted – $35 Million.
He will probably get what he wants. This is one amazing property. Do take a look at some of its pictures.
It is perched on top of the Mayacama Mountains between Sonoma Valley and Napa. Its location is just perfect. The 653 acre estate is located within 80 minutes of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. That’s why it has been described as “a wilderness so convenient”.
It has a Portuguese limestone façade. The 20,000-square-foot residence has five bedroom suites, climate-controlled cellars to store all the wine and art, a state-of-the-art theater, seven-stall horse barn, and an oak-paneled library. At the back there is an infinity swimming pool that is surrounded by multi-tiered sculpture garden and antique European stone decking. We call this life fit for a king and his queen.
All around the estate, there are towering trees, a natural lake, and rushing winter creeks. On top of everything there is 24 acres of vineyards. The estate borders the protected Sugarloaf Ridge State Park.
We wonder why Williams is selling it off. It is after all a dream to own such a property.
