Elvis Presley Estate Sold for $9.8 Million

The Beverly Hills estate of the legend Elvis Presley was up for grabs recently. Elvis fans might be interested to know that there are a lot of memories, both good and bad, that are attached with this home. Elvis Presley used to stay here once with his wife Priscilla, they purchased this home in 1967, the year the two got married. Elvis moved in with his new wife to this estate. Eventually however, the couple sold it off in 1973 as they were getting divorced.

Elvis had paid a staggering $400,000 for this property back then. It was however on sale for $12.995 Million. Marketed as “the ultimate Elvis memorabilia”, this estate was purchased by Peter Morton, the founder of Hard Rock Café. According to reports, Peter paid $9.8 Million for this.

This estate is located in the neighborhood of Trousdale Estates, which is packed with many celebrities anyways.

It was thoroughly renovated before it went under the hammer. It features a formal living room that comes with a fireplace, a resurfaced spa and pool, a completely new laundry room, and a kitchen with many professional appliances. There is generous closet space in the master suite. The pool and spa overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The new owner will get a panoramic view of the LA skyline as well.
