15 Purchases You Can Make To Help Benefit Charity

Buying things to benefit charity is nothing new. For years, no one could escape the omnipresence of those yellow Livestrong bracelets, at least prior to Lance Armstrong’s steroid scandal. Another example of this is Girl Scout Cookies. You can buy just about anything from clothing, to jewelry and accessories to food and cosmetics, to benefit a variety of causes from cancer to children. Below are fifteen fabulous finds that benefit charity.

Some are from larger companies, which you might already know about, that make a specific donation for every item sold. Others are from independent companies and artisan designers. Most importantly, this list does not contain the overdone rubber bracelets. Everything on this list is something that is desirable to purchase, independent of its philanthropic benefits. All of these items are great gift ideas to give to everyone from your best girlfriend, to your mother. Not only does everything on this list look good, it will certainly make you feel good because nothing feels better than looking chic and doing good all at the same time.
