12 Stars You Didn't Know Are The Same Age As Kylie Jenner

There’s so much to say about Kylie Jenner. She’s the youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan. She’s had a significant amount of “work” done to her face, including lip injections and an alleged nose job. Kylie is also dating rapper Tyga, who is considerably older than her. Tyga has even made a music video about his relationship (and sex life) with Kylie, and has shared some messages to her via social media that shouldn’t have been made public. There are also rumors that Kim Kardashian, who is friends with Tyga’s ex-fiance Blac Chyna, encouraged Kylie and Tyga’s budding romance.

Oh, and there’s also the fact that Kylie Jenner is only 18! Her life experiences are “richer” than many women twice her age, and she’s barely legal. Many people don’t approve of the way Jenner lives, but hey, her parents don’t seem to have too much of a problem with it. After all, there’s a good chance that Kris and Caitlyn Jenner are grooming Kylie to be a savvy businesswoman who can make her cosmetic surgeries and premature sexiness work for her one day.

There are also a few celebs who are the same age as Kylie, but have a completely different public image. It’s easy to forget these talented celebrities, since Jenner’s plump pout seems to take over everything these days. Here are 12 celebs you probably didn’t know were the same age as Kylie Jenner.

12 Sydney Park

If you’ve been watching the TV Land hit Instant Mom lately, you’ve likely noticed the adorable daughter on the show, played by Sydney Park. Before she starred on Instant Mom, Park made appearances on That’s So Raven. Sydney is also a comedienne, and has the distinction of being the youngest person to perform on the Hollywood Improv stage. She was only six years old when she did her comedy routine for the crowd. Even though Sydney Park and Kylie Jenner are the same age, it’s clear to see that their overall image is different. Park has a more carefree style and prefers the natural look, while Kylie, is, well, Kylie.

11 Olivia Holt

Olivia Holt is a Disney Channel star, known for her roles in Girl vs. Monster, Kickin’ It and I Didn’t Do It. Olivia also starred in the indie movie Black & Blue. She’s a natural beauty who is a native of Tennessee, and started acting and singing when she was just three years old. Holt has also been a competitive gymnast for the last five years, so if this acting thing doesn’t work out, she may have something to fall back on. Olivia’s image is pretty squeaky clean, since we don’t hear much of anything about her in the news, and it seems like her management team has advised her to go with the “girl next door” thing, which seems to be working for her.

10 Becky G

Singer Becky G made a name for herself by posting videos of herself singing and dancing on YouTube. Some have compared her to Justin Bieber, since the two stars got the start in similar ways. Becky G got noticed in 2007, and since then, she’s appeared on the Disney Channel several times, and is known for her hit singles “Play It Again” and “Becky From The Block” (obviously, Jennifer Lopez is one of her inspirations). She’s also featured on the Hotel Transylvania soundtrack. Becky G can be a little provocative at times, but it’s usually nothing more than wearing a crop top or some really red lipstick. Her antics are pretty mild compared to Kylie Jenner’s.

9 Bella Thorne

When she was just six weeks old, Bella Thorne was featured in a photoshoot for Parents magazine. She’s been on several magazine covers since then, but she’s perhaps best known for her recent work in The DUFF, where she played a mean girl, and Blended, where she wasn’t exactly comfortable with her femininity. Bella is also known for her starring role as CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up. She co-starred on the show with Zendaya, and both young ladies have gone on to make some pretty sound career decisions. Thorne is also known for being extremely pleasant and well-spoken in interviews, which indicates that she really doesn’t mind if people label her as a “good girl.” Maybe Kylie could learn a thing or two from her.

8 Sierra McCormick

Sierra McCormick is an actress and native of Asheville, North Carolina. She appeared in the movie Ramona and Beezus, and she was also featured in Land of the Lost. Teens and tweens likely recognize McCormick from the Disney sitcom A.N.T. Farm, where she played Olive, one of the main characters. Sierra and Kylie Jenner were born in the same year (1997), but it’s clear to see they are two different types of celebrities. We barely hear about McCormick unless she’s starring in a movie, and there aren’t really any pictures of her wearing a ton of makeup. It seems like Sierra is focused on perfecting her craft as an actor and wants to be known for that. Kylie, on the other hand, is happy just being famous.

7 Ciara Bravo

Ciara Bravo was once known as the precocious little sister on the Nickelodeon sitcom, Big Time Rush. She then went on to star in the Fox drama Red Band Society, a show about young people who are dealing with cancer. Bravo was also the voice of Patty in the animate movie Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown. Ciara was born in Kentucky, and reportedly still lives with her parents, brother and sister, so she has that in common with Kylie Jenner (kind of). However, a Kentucky upbringing is likely much different from life in Los Angeles. That may be why we don’t hear about Ciara Bravo being involved in any relationship scandals, and it doesn’t look like she’s had any plastic surgery.

6 Chloe Grace Moretz

Chloe Grace Moretz is a pretty talented actress to be so young. She is the youngest in her family, like Kylie Jenner. However, unlike Kylie, she has four older brothers. Moretz is a native of Atlanta, and is well-known for her role in the movie Kick-Ass. As a young child, Chloe got her start when she appeared in two episodes of The Guardian. Moretz is also known for her roles in movies such as Texas Killing Fields, Carrie and Dark Shadows. When she’s not showing off her acting skills, Chloe is walking her dog, swimming or playing basketball. Something tells us that those things don’t pique Kylie Jenner’s interest.

5 Maisie Williams

Maisie Williams is definitely making a name for herself in Hollywood, due to her role as Arya Stark in the popular HBO series Game of Thrones. She got a 2012 Portal Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role. Williams was also the recipient of the BBC Radio 1 award for Best British Actor in 2013. Maisie was born in Bristol England, and is the youngest child in her family. Unlike Kylie Jenner, she likes to keep it pretty natural in terms of makeup when she’s photographed, and she’s pretty stylish on the red carpet without going overboard. Some would even say she’s dressed in a way that is appropriate for her age.

4 Isabelle Fuhrman

Isabelle Fuhrmann is perhaps best known for her role in the movie Orphans. Fuhrman grew up in Atlanta, but was born in D.C. She was cast for Cartoon Fridays for Cartoon Network when she was at a casting call waiting on her sister, and that’s how her career in Hollywood began. So, (kind of) like Kylie Jenner, Isabelle was noticed when she was in the same place as her sister. She appeared on television as herself in 2006 when she did a commercial for Rooms To Go. After she did a few comedy skits on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Fuhrman moved to Los Angeles with her family so she could pursue her acting career. Isabelle has dark hair and brown eyes like the Kardashians, so she looks like she could be a distant cousin or something, but that’s about where the similarities end.

3 Odeya Rush

Actress Odeya Rush could easily be mistaken for one of the members of the Kardashian clan, since she has beautiful olive skin, dark hair and really knows how to wear a smoky eye. Rush was born in Israel and comes from a large family of six siblings, including two sets of twins. She moved to the U.S. when she was nine, and by the time she was 12, the family was on their way to New York City so Odeya could pursue an acting career. Rush worked on the popular show Curb Your Enthusiasm before getting a co-starring role in the Disney movie, The Odd Life of Timothy Green.

2 Ava Elizabeth Sambora

Ava Sambora and Kylie Jenner likely have a lot in common. They both come from famous families and are afforded opportunities that most teenage girls can only dream of. Ava is the daughter of Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear, so she’s basically been a celebrity all her life. She made her acting debut in the 2012 movie This Is 40, where she played the best friend of Sadie. Sadie was played by Maude Apatow, the daughter of Judd Apatow, who was the writer and director for the movie. Ava is also a model for her father’s clothing line, White Trash Beautiful.

1 Malala Yousafzai

Malala Yousafzai is undoubtedly the most impressive young lady on this list. She defied the Taliban by demanding that girls in Palestine receive an education. As a result of her defiance, she was shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012, and miraculously survived. Even as a young child, Malala was an activist for girls’ education. When the Taliban caught word of this, the organization issued a death threat against her. She was shot while coming home from school, and after her recovery, Yousafzai continued to speak out about the importance of education for girls and women. In 2014, she became the youngest person in history to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. She was also nominated for the award the year before. Enough said.
