There are a lot of things in life that get better with age. Wine is among them, as is scotch and other whiskeys (okay, from the looks of it, it may just be alcohol). I'm sure there are others, but people generally do not make the list of things in this world that get better with age. Older people do gather knowledge and wisdom, but the trade off is complications with bodily functions, joint and muscle issues and of course, the gradual loss of one's youthful looks and vitality.
Male or female, the aging process affects everyone. People deal with it differently depending on circumstances. Some get tons of work done, in the form of injections and surgeries, and end up looking like expressionless robots, but with flawless cheekbones. Others look rough but just go with the flow. Keith Richards, the legendary guitarist for the Rolling Stones is an example of that last group. Decades of hard living have left him looking like a skeleton caught in a baseball glove. Not to say he isn't a talented musician, but we can all tell he has lived life to the fullest.
There are however, people out there who may age, but who show it less than the rest, maintaining beauty and youthful looks well into their fifties and sixties. While here at The Richest we believe that all people are beautiful in their own way (HA), there are a select few who are a bit above the rest of the pack. Here is our list of ten female celebrities over fifty who still look stunning.
9 Courteney Cox
Whether you liked Friends or not, there is no denying that Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox were two of the most beautiful women on television in the 90's. Jennifer Aniston has maintained her beauty (some say she's improved, not that there was much room for that) and Courteney Cox remained one of the television's hottest, starring on Cougar Town, which ended back in March.
8 Megan Mullally
Again, much like many of the women on this list, we'd like to see some ID please, cause there's no way she's 56. Megan Mullally is best known for having played Karen on Will and Grace. While the show was a huge success overall, she remains one of the more memorable television characters of the late 90's and early 2000's. Since then, Mullally has been on several big shows, including small roles on Parks and Recreation and Bob's Burgers.
7 Michelle Pfeiffer
Depending on when you read this, say "happy belated birthday" to our number seven. Michelle Pfeiffer turned 57 on April 29, 2015. Interestingly, she still looks like she could be in her forties or even an experienced 35 year old. The woman who played Tony Montana's trophy wife in Scarface way back in 1983, went on to make a great career for herself, earning several Academy Award nominations (no wins, except for all our hearts) and enough other assorted awards that nobody should feel too bad about the lack of an Oscar.
6 Sheryl Crow
5 Heather Locklear
Another blond haired, blue eyed stunner comes in at number five; Heather Locklear. She was on Melrose Place back in the 90's, and more recently has been on Spin City, Hot in Cleveland and Franklin and Bash, which was cancelled back in late 2014. Her other acting roles are too numerous to name, including four years on T.J. Hooker, and single episodes of The Love Boat, Two and a Half Men and voicing a character on King of the Hill.
4 Jane Seymour
It was all the way back in 1973, when she played the Bond girl Solitaire, when Jane Seymour first became famous. The role was in Live and Let Die, the first of the Bond fils to feature Roger Moore. She nailed the role, but the jury is still out on whether or not Moore should have ever been cast as Bond.
3 Christie Brinkley
Now we're getting into the top three, with one of the most well known and successful models of all time. Now 61, it was over thirty years ago that Christie Brinkley was a regular in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Since the 1970's, she has appeared in over 500 magazine covers, from Rolling Stone to US.
2 Julianne Moore
While many might remember her as Maude Lebowski (the weird artist whose work is described as "vaginal") from The Big Lebowski, she is one of the most talented actresses of the last several decades. If that isn't enough to make you fall in love, take another look at Julianne Moore. She finally took home the Oscar for best actress for her 2014 performance in
Still Alice, in which she played a college professor suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
1 Monica Bellucci
At number four we had one of the most memorable Bond girls, Jane Seymour (Solitaire) and in first place, Italian model and actress Monica Bellucci, who will co-star in Spectre later this year. She turned 50 back in September 2015, and never expected to be selected as the next Bond woman (she has noted in interviews that she is a woman, not a girl).
While much of her other work has been in the modeling world, she was Persephone, the most memorable character in The Matrix: Reloaded. Given how hot she looked back then and still looks today, The Matrix definitely worked hard to produce something this wonderful.
