9 Shenae Grimes

Many Canadians recognize Shenae Grimes from Degrassi: The Next Generation and others may recognize her from Beverly Hills, 90210. In 2013 this young starlet married Josh Beech. I don’t think anyone knew what a risk taker Grimes was when it came to fashion because friends and family were shocked with her choice to wear a black lace and tulle gown down the aisle. Although this couple has just recently tied the knot, the pair is apparently more in love than ever. We love what a risk she took with her wedding gown, however we can't help but wonder if she could have found a nice black gown…as long as she liked it that’s all that matters.

Okay so maybe June Shannon aka Mama June aka Honey Boo-Boo’s Mom is not exactly an A-list celebrity; she is still a celebrity (sadly). When June Shannon announced that she was going to be walking down the aisle, everyone was anxious to see what she would be walking down in. I think she shocked the world when she wore a full out camo gown to her wedding. “Sugar Bear,” the man she married, wore a matching camo suit. Just when you thought Honey Boo-Boo and her clan had reached its peak of tackiness, Mama June pulls out this mess. But hey, who am I to judge? If the bride loved it, that is all that mattered.

Once upon a time, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe were America's sweethearts. The pair were married for eight years and together they brought two stunning children into the world. However, their marriage was not as perfect as it seemed. Shortly after winning her Academy Award for best actress the couple called it quits. Thankfully, Witherspoon remarried to the handsome Jim Toth. Although Toth and Witherspoon had a beautiful wedding, she did not feel comfortable wearing white for her second trip down the aisle. Instead of white, Reese chose a gorgeous blush-pink dress designed by Monique Lhuillier. Lets hope the pink dress brought her better luck with this husband.

1 Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker is a great actress who is known to most as Carrie in Sex and the City. Parker is truly a modern day style icon and has always been creative when it comes to her outfit choices. In 1997, Sarah Jessica Parker said “I do” to Matthew Broderick. The fashionable bride decided to wear the complete opposite of white and rocked a black gown down the aisle. Although many say that wearing black to your wedding is considered bad luck, this couple is proof that it isn’t. They have been happily married since then and have three gorgeous children together. Maybe more brides should wear black!
