The Grammys and Oscars are Hollywood’s way of celebrating the achievements of the talented. Our favourite celebrities are usually famous for their acting abilities and charming personas. But it is unrealistic to think that they are only talented at acting. Like the rest of us, many celebrities have talents which may go unused. We are occasionally lucky enough to see these our favorite stars show off their hidden talents during television interviews.
Talent is a skill that is honed while knowledge is learnt. Anyone is capable of acquiring knowledge, but talent differentiates the skilled from the rest. People are talented in different areas and celebrities are no different. Actors are known for their abilities to learn quickly and get accustomed to new traits and make them look natural. Sometimes this ability is enhanced by their previous experience and talents. Celebrities are creative people and it makes sense for them to be skilled in more than a few areas. This explains why so many actors get into book writing and musical pursuits. It can also be their access to their limitless bank accounts that gives them a chance for trying out different skills. For some of them, their talents are encouraged from a young age from observant and caring parents. We get so used to seeing our favorite celebrities talk about their successes as actors and actresses that we might forget they are capable of having other talents. We might think we know celebrities because we see them so exposed on camera, but they might surprise us with the hidden talents they do have!
