Jennifer Lopez is set to earn big with her American Idol comeback.
The “Jenny from the Block” singer is making her return to the reality talent show for an enormous $17.5 million deal. J-Lo became part of the 2011 and 2010 seasons and received $12 million and $15 million, respectively. Her salary is said to be higher than fellow pop singer Britney Spears who earns $15 million as judge on the rival show The X Factor USA.
The 44-year-old pop diva, who is worth $110 million, left the show where she was one of the panelists along with rock singer and Aerosmith vocalist Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson. She was replaced by Mariah Carey who had an unheated argument with fellow judge Nicki Minaj. Randy also resigned but will return as a mentor.
Moreover, the show is also gearing for a new set of judges for the new season. Country singer and husband of Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, was the only one confirmed. Other choices include rappers Kanye West and P. Diddy but were reported to have rejected the offer.
