David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s married life is one of the most peaceful, almost perfect unions seen among celebrity couples. There are never any major controversies or gossip-filled rumors that circle around these two that puts their relationship at stake.
Both of them were already celebrities upon meeting but that didn't change the dynamic of their relationship. The Manchester United hunky soccer player and the mysterious pouting Spice Girl met at a charity football match in 1996 and felt the chemistry between them flow.
Victoria admitted that before she did not mingle with males due to a series of heartaches which resulted in all of her friends being women. However, she decided to entrust her heart to the football superstar. They started dating in 1997, got engaged in 1998 and finally tied the knot in 1999 at the 560-acre estate of the 1794, gothic Luttrellstown Castle, Ireland.
Their love resulted in four children. Their first son Brooklyn Joseph Beckham was born in 1999 in London, Romeo James Beckham was born in 2002, Cruz David Beckham was born in 2005 in Madrid; and the only rose among the thorns, Harper Seven Beckham was born in 2011 in Los Angeles, California.
Through their 14 years of marriage, the two are not just house partners, they are also business partners. They have released their own perfume and fashion lines. They are also seen doning couples items such as; baseball caps, diamond ring, sarongs, leathers and even haircuts.
The Beckhams have a mansion in Beckingham Place and sold the one they had in Hertfordshire, England. The two reside in Los Angeles, California but are seeking a permanent residence in their hometown of London after David’s retirement and since Victoria has extended her business in London.
Victoria has been very supportive of David in his football endeavors until the end of his career. She could not hide her tears as she witnessed her husband’s final football game before he retired. The 39-year-old Spice Girl came to support her husband together with their children Brooklyn, Cruz, Romeo and daughter Harper as David’s team, the Paris Saint Germain, defeated Brest.
