Some celebrities are notoriously known for their crazy attitudes and ridiculous backstage demands (we're talking about you, Beyonce, with your apparently heavily seasoned chicken legs and 78 degree room). They want what they want, when they want it. And most of the time, they get it. But not all celebrities have this type of bad reputation. In fact, some of them are actually genuinely modest people, who keep their demands to a minimum and respect the people around them, famous or not. Hollywood should take a hint from these next 8 celebrities, whose etiquette on set and off set, is something they could be more than proud of. Here are some of Hollywood's finest, most laid back individuals.
8 Jennifer Lawrence
Can you imagine Jennifer Lawrence losing her mind on set or demanding for ridiculous things? No, neither can we. J-Law is basically the girl next door, someone we can all relate to because she is reported as being super personable, down to earth and real. And that comes across in her attitude, both on and off screen. We see it on the red carpet, when she declares her love for food or when she trips and makes fun of herself. This girl could really care less, and that's why she's on this list. In fact, when the Oscars rolled around and she was asked what she'd like in her dressing room, all the young superstar asked for was some tea, cupcakes and lavender scented candles. No outrageous demands here, which just makes us love The Hunger Games star, that much more.
7 Ellen Degeneres
Similar to Jennifer Lawrence, can you imagine Ellen Degeneres being anything less than awesome? As one of the funniest women on TV, she's gotten to where she is because she's generally a great person, or at least, she comes off that way. She's laid back on set when she's interviewing, and the only demand she was rumored to have while she was judging on American Idol, was to her have her wife, Portia de Rossi, be a guest judge. That's not too bad if you ask us. It seems that Ellen doesn't have a diva bone in her body.
6 Will Ferrell
While Will Ferrell might have some strange backstage demands that once included a headset microphone and a three-wheeled scooter, would you not absolutely love to work with the guy? Not only is he one of the best in the biz when it comes to making us laugh, he's got a personality that just screams fun. We can hardly imagine him being anything but laid-back and completely awesome.
5 Tom Hanks
4 Emma Watson
3 Blake Lively
Though she played a scheming, dramatic teenager in her most famous role on Gossip Girl, in real life, Blake Lively is nothing like Serena Vanderwoodsen. Rumor has it that while on set on a particularly warm day, she wanted some ice cream. But Blake would only agree to have some if she treated the entire set to the cold treat, too. How sweet! There's rarely a bad thing written about Lively, whose married to another Hollywood star –Ryan Reynolds. We think she's one of the most laid back -and sweetest- in the biz.
2 Leighton Meester
Blake Lively's Gossip Girl co-star, Leighton Meester also played a conniving teen, but the brunette beauty is far from that off camera. The 28 year old, who's married to OC star Adam Brody, didn't have the easiest of childhoods. Her mother was serving prison time when she was born, and nursed Meester for three months in a halfway house, until she went to live with her grandparents. Her father also served time for drug related crimes. Despite her mother's jail time, Leighton says she grew up normal, but we're sure her past has to do with how grounded she is. The young actress is one of the least talked about in Hollywood, surely because she's one of the most drama-free.
1 Robert Downey Jr.
Does anyone really seem better than Robert Downey Jr.? He once reportedly showed up late to the Oscars with a coffee in hand, like he just didn't care, which is kind of awesome considering it's the Oscars. Plus, his life wasn't all peachy. He claims he was addicted to drugs by the age of eight, taking his first hit of marijuana at only six years old. Having overcome drug abuse and turning his life into a success just makes him that much more amazing, relatable and down to earth. Doesn't he seem like one of Hollywood's coolest guys?
