Celebrities are usually thought of as being larger than life people, who have it all and are as close to perfect as possible. The media usually report on a celebrity’s every move and they are held to a high standard. Every outburst, break up and wild night out is reported on and discussed. It seems as though sometimes it’s forgotten that they are people just like us, with millions of dollars and adoring fans, but still just like us.

Celebrities have stresses and problems like an ordinary person. We forget that they are not perfect and are human too. They go through painful heartbreak, lose jobs and make horrible mistakes like anyone else. But when they get a DUI or get arrested for making a scene, their mug shot trends on Twitter (not that it’s okay to get a DUI or arrested). Many celebrities have proven that they are just like us. Sometimes it’s by being simple, humble and down to earth. Other times, it's when something embarrassing happens to them in public or they simply get caught being human. Even when doing very ordinary and normal things it’s reported on and discussed for days. Here is a look at 10 times celebrities proved that they’re just like us.

9 Beyoncé and Her #1 Fan

People with long, flowing hair will probably be able to relate to this one more than someone with short (or no) hair. Beyoncé is one of the best selling solo artists of all time. She started her career with the tremendously popular girl band, Destiny’s Child. She has released several critically and commercially acclaimed albums as a solo artist such as, Dangerously In Love, I am…Sasha Fierce and Beyoncé. She is highly praised for her live concerts. Anyone who has ever fallen in public knows how embarrassing it can be. There are several clips online of the gorgeous diva tripping, stumbling and taking nasty falls during her concerts. During a performance in Montreal, her gorgeous long flowing hair got caught in a stage fan. It’s one thing to get your hair caught in a fan; it’s different when they’re thousands of people watching and it’s during a high-powered performance. Beyoncé continued to sing while the crew worked fast to free her.

8 Sofia Vergara Dress Rips At The Emmys

It’s embarrassing when one’s pants split or shirt rips in the most personal of places. Nobody likes to feel exposed. Sofia Vergara knows a thing or two about feeling exposed. She is best known for her role as Gloria Delgado-Prittchett in the hit ABC sitcom Modern Family. She also appeared in films such as, Four Brothers, New Year’s Eve and Chef. We all have wardrobe malfunctions from time to time but we don’t have to worry about it happening on national TV. At the 2012 Emmy Awards, Sofia showed up in a stunning aqua colored dress. Her vivacious curves and sexy body proved too much for the dress. 20 minutes before winning the Emmy for Outstanding Series, the back of her dress tore and some of those in attendance got a shot of her derriere. Luckily, this happened off screen but she had to sit through one segment before getting it fixed and appearing on stage.

7 Prince William: When Nature Calls

If Game of Thrones has taught us anything, it’s that Kings can do whatever they want and that dragons will come back some day. Prince William is the Duke of Cambridge and might some day be King Of England. He might be Royalty but he’s just like us, expect he’s in line to be king. He’s the son of Prince Charles and Princess of Wales, Diana. His marriage to Kate Middleton and birth of their child made headline news. Most people might not want to admit it but almost everyone has relieved themselves in public at one time or another. There isn’t anything wrong with it…actually, there might be something wrong with it but we're not here to judge. Regardless, when you gotta go, you gotta go. In 2008, the Internet blew up with pictures of the future King urinating on a fence. Apparently, he was taking a break from a polo match when nature called and he answered.

7) Justin Bieber Throws Up On Stage

Pop sensation Justin Bieber proved he’s just like us. When he drinks too much, he gets sick and pukes his guts out …of course, we’re talking about drinking too much milk in this case. Justin Bieber has released several albums including, My World 2.0, Believe and Journals. Nobody likes to vomit, it's painful and uncomfortable. It’s embarrassing to throw up in front of another person from drinking too much or from a stomach flu. Now, imagine throwing up in front of thousands of your adoring fans. If that’s not bad enough, imagine throwing up twice. In 2012, during a concert the Biebs had an upset stomach and threw up on stage. He left and returned later, only to throw up again. He claimed that he drank too much milk, which caused the sickness.

6 Zac Efron Drops a Condom on Red Carpet at Premiere

Zac Efron first rose to prominence with the Disney Series, High School Musical. He quickly became a breakout star and was regarded as a teen idol. He has transitioned into a film career and has appeared in films like, 17 Again, New Year’s Eve and Neighbors. At the 2012 premiere of his movie Dr. Seuss The Lorax, Zac dropped a condom, he presumably planned to use later, on the red carpet as he greeted fans. It’s normal for anyone to practice safe sex and we’ve all had embarrassing moments when we drop something personal. His reaction is the same type of reaction any other person would have. He quickly grabbed the condom but was clearly embarrassed. He put his glasses on and did everything he could to prevent his face from turning red. It’s a good idea to practice safe sex. It’s also a good idea to keep condoms in a more secure place.

5 John Cena Goes Number 2 In His Pants

For any kid who has ever been laughed at for farting in class, John Cena will make you feel better. John Cena is a WWE Superstar and actor. He is a 12 Time WWE Champion. He released the rap album You Can’t See Me, in 2005. He has also appeared in films such as, The Marine, 12 Rounds and Legendary. On an episode of E Network's Total Divas, Cena told a story to his girlfriend and WWE Diva Nikki Bella, about the time he went number 2 in his pants. He told the story in defense of another WWE Diva, Natalya, who had an accident of her own during a match. For Cena, it happened during a non-televised event in Canada (although he can’t remember for sure). He does remember that he had food poisoning and wasn’t feeling well. He was a trouper about it and did the match. During the match he rolled under the ring to throw up, but it ended up coming out the back door as well as the front door. Needless to say, Nikki was disgusted.

4 Hilary Duff On Tinder

Dating is hard, awkward and uncomfortable for anyone. However, it must be easy for a beautiful and talented actress like Hilary Duff, right? Wrong. Just like everyone else, celebrities can’t find the right person either. Hilary Duff first rose to fame starring in the Disney show, Lizzie McGuire. She also appeared in several films, such as The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Cheaper By The Dozen and Agent Cody Banks. She also has a very successful music career. She released several albums, such as Metamorphosis, Dignity and Breathe In, Breathe Out. In 2014, she became single again after her and husband Mike Comrie divorced. Becoming single again can be scary especially nowadays. Tinder is an App that has completely changed dating. All a person has to do is swipe to the side to find the love of their life, a person to hangout with or a one-night stand. Hilary revealed in an interview with Ryan Seacrest, that she had gone on her first Tinder date to the bowling ally. She even had a few friends join in to make it a group date to make it easier for her.

3 Keanu Reeves Rides The Subway

Keanu Reeves is best known for his roles in films such as, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Point Break, Speed and The Matrix Trilogy. He has a Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and has made millions throughout his career. With all the money he has made, one would assume he’d be driven around in a limo or flown in a helicopter. Keanu comes across humble and down to earth. He has surfed the rough ocean, been on a bus with a bomb and traveled through time in a phone booth. Now he’s traveling on the subway just like any other ordinary person. A clip surfaced online showing Keanu riding the subway in NYC, just like a normal person. Like the perfect gentleman he is, he gives up his seat for a woman that was standing, proving he’s just like us. Maybe he rides the subway because he hates buses.

2 John Travolta Introduces “Adele Dazeem”

People sometimes mispronounce or struggle to say a name and it can be embarrassing. It’s especially frustrating to get tongue-tied or say a word wrong during a presentation. It’s also frustrating to be the person having their name mispronounced. John Travolta didn’t just say a name wrong; he completely butchered it beyond recognition. John Travolta is best known for his roles in films such as, Grease, Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction. At the 2014 Oscars, John Travolta intended to introduce Idina Menzel to perform the smash hit “Let It Go” from the animated Oscar winning film, Frozen. Idina Menzel is a Broadway star and appeared in the Fox series, Glee. In addition to singing “Let It Go”, she also provided the voice for Queen Elsa in Frozen. However, John struggled to say her name and instead of introducing Idina Menzel, he introduced Adele Dazeem.

1 Jennifer Lawrence Falls

Jennifer Lawrence (just being herself) proves she’s just like all of us. She comes across as humble and down to earth. She gets flustered, overly excited and somewhat speechless when she gets to meet one of her favorite celebrities, like the time she met Jeff Bridges and freaked out. Jennifer Lawrence has appeared in several critically and commercially acclaimed films, such as American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbook and The Hunger Games films. It’s embarrassing to trip, stumble and fall just when walking down the street. The first thing any ordinary person does is to look around to make sure nobody saw. Now, imagine falling on national TV at the biggest awards show in front of all your peers. In 2013, Jennifer won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. On her way to the podium to accept the award, she tripped and fell face first on the steps. It's very understandable, as it's an overwhelming moment and that dress looked hard to maneuver in. The crowd gave her a standing ovation once she got to her feet. The following year at the 2014 Oscars, she tripped during her appearance on the red carpet. Nobody falls with grace, class and beauty like Jennifer Lawrence does.
