Nowadays, social media has a huge impact on today’s generation and at times it’s not always a positive one. There are many negative side effects to sharing your life online and when it comes to being a famous celebrity, you’re in the public eye; your life is already under a microscope between the paparazzi photos taken of you to the fans wanting to know everything about your personal life. To some celebrities social media is known for being fun, sharing photos and interacting with the fans, while others think of social media the “enemy” because of its invasiveness, and lack of privacy.

Some public figures don’t want to feel pressured to have to share every aspect of their life with their fans; they just want a little discretion and not have to be stressed about not taking a photo of what they ate for breakfast for “Instagram” or to tweet what they are doing throughout the day on “Twitter”.
