On January 1, 2008, the two exchanged marriage vows in an island off Bora Bora. The marriage, however, was never made official as the two decided it was unnecessary to have their relationship defined further. It probably was a good thing as it did not last at all.
7.Robert Evans and Catherine Oxenberg – 9 days
Catherine Oxenberg was one of the stars of the 1980s primetime soap drama called “Dynasty.” Her mother was Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia. She attended Harvard University in the 1980s. She got married to the producer Robert Evans on July 12, 1998. It quickly ended however, as the marriage got annulled after just nine days.
6. Gregg Allman and Cher – 9 days

He then married Cher, with whom he released a widely criticized album called “Two the Hard Way.” The two got married in 1975 and separated nine days later as Allman was not up to his wife’s celebrity lifestyle. Actual divorce came four years later.
5. Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra – 9 days
Dennis Rodman was basketball’s ultimate bad boy. He was part of the rough and rugged Detroit Pistons team that bagged back-to-back NBA championships in the latter part of the 80s. He then spent a few troubled years with the San Antonio Spurs. A stint with the Chicago Bulls that teamed him up with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and coached by Phil Jackson tamed Rodman as he behaved well enough to stay for three years, winning a title each time out. Unfortunately, Baywatch babe Carmen Electra failed to tame Rodman the way the Bulls did. They got married in November 1998 and filed for an annulment a mere nine days later.
4. Dennis Hopper and Michele Phillips – 8 days
The two were icons of the 1960s. Dennis Hopper co-wrote, directed and starred in the movie entitled “Easy Rider,” which is considered the movie symbol of the 1960s. Michele Phillips was a member of The Mamas & the Papas. Hopper, however, had a lot of baggage as he was difficult to be with and was a notorious drug addict. They got married on October 31, 1970 and divorced just eight days later.
3. Jason Alexander and Britney Spears – 55 hours
Britney Spears started out in “The New Mickey Mouse Club” before exploding to the pop music scene with “Baby, One More Time” in 1999, the biggest selling solo album by a teenage artist ever made. She followed it up with another blockbuster hit called “Oops!…I Did It Again.” She became a pop icon and her every move was scrutinized by the media, including her relationship with Justin Timberlake, her fellow Mickey Mouse Club graduate who was making it big himself. It probably came too fast and too much for Spears as she was obviously harking back to her more innocent childhood days by hooking up with her old friend Jason Alexander. The two got married in Las Vegas before Spears realized the folly and described it as a joke that went too far.
2. Felipe de Alba and ZsaZsa Gabor – 24 hours
ZsaZsa Gabor was a Hungarian-born American actress and socialite. The winner of the Miss Hungary beauty pageant in 1936, her European flair and inherent charm and grace made her a much sought-after actress after she moved to the United States in 1941 when she was 24 years old. She had nine husbands, including one with Felipe de Alba, a Mexican lawyer and character actor whom she married in 1983. Unfortunately, Gabor’s previous union to Michael O’ Hara had not yet been properly dissolved at that time, so her marriage to de Alba was immediately declared invalid and annulled. The two never stayed together.
1. Rudolph Valentino and Jean Acker – 6 hours
Rudolph Valentino and Jean Acker were stars of Hollywood during the silent film era. Their relationship, however, created a lot of noise. The two had a two-month courtship before getting married on November 6, 1919. Acker regretted it almost immediately after saying “I do” and locked Valentino out of their hotel room. With the marriage never consummated, Valentino immediately filed for divorce. It probably got him so frustrated that he married another woman before the divorce with Acker was even finalized. Valentino was sued for bigamy even as Acker insisted that she was still the rightful “Mrs. Rudolph Valentino.” The two eventually made up before he died in 1926. Acker turned out to be a lesbian who spent the rest of her life with Chloe Carter. She died in 1978. In hindsight, Valentino was probably that good with women that even a lesbian fell for his charms, even for just a few hours.
