Monique Mosley has filed for a divorce from Timothy Mosley or better known in the music industry as Timbaland. This will end a five-year marriage that began in 2008. It may also lead to an ugly court battle between the two. Monique is demanding alimony from Timothy, among other demands. She wants this alimony paid up as rehabilitative alimony while the divorce proceedings are ongoing and as permanent alimony when the court finally settles the dispute. Monique claims that she is without a penny and therefore needs the money as soon as possible for various expenses including expenses for paying up her lawyer fees.
She wants custody of their five-year-old daughter, Reign, in addition to the expenses that will come with it such as life insurance, private school, summer camp and vacations. Reign was born in 2007. Monique is also seeking the court to grant support for her ten-year-old child who is not Timbaland’s child but who Timbaland has treated and publicly acknowledged as his child. Timbaland also has two other boys, Frankie and Demetrius from another relationship.
Timbaland, an acclaimed music producer is worth over $80 million. Now his soon to be ex wife, Monique wants half of that. The pair has been a couple for over ten years. Monique has cited unfaithfulness as the reason for the divorce.
