The Brangelina couple is one of the most desired couples in Hollywood.
However, the a-list couple seems to be unsure of their marriage life, as they jointly signed for a prenuptial agreement worth a staggering $270 million before their upcoming wedding around Christmas time this year. The whopping pre-nup fee is equal to their combined net worth, $150 million for Brad Pitt and $120 million for Angelina Jolie.
It was reported to be a 101-page prenuptial document arranged by Brad’s lawyer. The document contains an agreement that the couple will share joint equal custody of their six kids; Shiloh, Vivienne, Maddox, Zahara, Pax and Knox, if they decided to get separated in the future.
"Angelina has always been a bit reluctant about having a pre-nup but Brad persuaded her it's for the best," told an insider. "He's a romantic guy, but also very practical, and given they're worth $270 million between them, with six children and a lot of property across the globe, it definitely makes sense."
The couple originally wanted to wed in France, but since they are not residents of the country, they decided to have it in Hawaii. Expected to be dubbed “The Wedding of the Century,” it will be held in the favorite place Angelina's deceased mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died on January 27, 2007. They planned on having the winter-themed reception at their French home, Chateau Mirav.
"Both Brad and Angelina have been married before so they know how messy a divorce can get. It's even more important this time because there are children involved and Brad wants them to cover all eventualities," added another source.
