Extreme Makeover's Dr. Ava Shamban Talks National Self-Esteem Month

Many know her from her regular television appearances on CBS’ The Doctors and as the skin maven on ABC’s Extreme Makeover. Dr. Shamban graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

In addition to heading her practices in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, she presently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the UCLA-Geffen School of Medicine.
