In 1991, actress Meg Ryan and actor Dennis Quaid tied the knot on Valentines Day at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. The couple met while filming 1987's ‘Innerspace’. After earlier plans to wed were postponed while Quaid completed drug rehab, a spontaneous ceremony was later held in their hotel room in celebration of his sobriety. Their marriage lasted 10 years.

In 1998, Phil Bronstein, then-editor of the San Francisco Chronicle, wed actress Sharon Stone in a lavish secret ceremony at her $4.5 million dollar Benedict Canyon mansion. Originally disguised as a Valentines Day party, 120 guests (including Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas) witnessed the Basic Instinct femme fatale and her journalist beau exchange vows. Rapper Lil Wayne and reality television star Toya were united in marriage in 2004. The Feb. 14 nuptials took place between the high school sweethearts after Lil Wayne had reached career success as a recording artist. The couple split due to the demands of his career and too much time spent apart while he was out performing on the road. Their divorce was finalized on Jan. 1, 2006, however they have remained good friends. The two have a daughter together (OMG Girlz singer Reginae Carter, 16). This top destination wedding venue hosted the couples ceremony, which included Blasi’s good friend and ‘Will & Grace’ star Sean Hayes, Patricia Richardson, Josh Cox and Jenifer Lewis as guests in attendance.

Actress Keri Russell and carpenter Shane Deary struck up a romance after a chance meeting at Martha’s Vineyard. The two were privately wed at the Harrison Restaurant in Tribeca on Feb. 14, 2007. At the time, Russell was 5 months pregnant and had chosen the wedding date according to the venue’s availability. 10 family members attended the intimate ceremony. The former ‘Felicity’ star and her husband recently called it quits after 7 years of marriage.

In 2008, a secret Valentines Day wedding ceremony for ‘Oasis’ frontman Liam Gallagher and former ‘All Saints’ singer Nicole Appleton was held at the Westminster Register Office in London. Appleton’s sister, Canadian pop singer Natalie Appleton of ‘All Saints’, and her brother-in-law, Liam Howlett of ‘The Prodigy’, were in attendance. The reception was held at the famed Landmark Hotel in central London. The songbirds lived in marital bliss for 5 years.

Film actress, director and producer Salma Hayek married billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault in an intimate ceremony on Feb. 14, 2009. The couple exchanged their vows in French in central Paris at the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement. In April, their Parisian nuptials were followed by an extravagant second wedding ceremony at La Fenice Opera Theater in Venice. This time the 150-person, star-studded guest list included Charlize Theron, Penelope Cruz, Ashley Judd, Oliver Martinez, Woody Harrelson, Bono and former French President Jacques Chirac. Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima eloped with NBA guard Marco Jaric on Valentine’s Day of 2009. A secret civil ceremony was held in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The famous Roman Catholic told GQ magazine she was saving virginity for her husband. The pair have since had two daughters (Valentina, 4, Sienna, 1).
