Multimillionaire and Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner made sure that his wife would have a roof over her head when he leaves this world.
87-year-old Hefner recently purchased a $5 million hillside mansion in Los Angeles as a wedding gift to his much younger 27-year-old bride, Crystal Harris.
It is a 6,600 square feet property with four bedrooms, five baths with white tiled showers, theater room, infinity pool, spa and game room.
The house is an architectural wonder. It features a myriad of stone, hardwood floors, butcher-block staircase, floor-to-ceiling windows, terraces and wood deck. It is nestled minutes from the Sunset Strip shops and restaurants and offers breathtaking views of the Los Angeles skyline and hillside.
He purchased the mansion from video game founder Jason Rubin, who is best known for Crash Bandicoot
The couple currently stays at the Playboy Mansion at Holmby Hills which listed at $11 million. They were engaged for a while before they tied the knot in January of this year. Reports also say that Helfner pays the rent for the 29-room house.
