10 Full House Cast Members: Where Are They Now?

Even though Full House went off the air 20 years ago, it is still one of the most beloved shows of all time. The show chronicles the life of a widowed father after his brother-in-law and best friend move in to help raise his three daughters. The show is filled with family friendly laughs and always manages to teach its many viewers an important life lesson without being overly preachy. What’s more is that even after 20 years, Full House has such a dedicated fan base that Netflix has decided to produce a spin -off show called Fuller House and fans couldn't be more thrilled. The new show will follow D.J Tanner after her husband dies and her best friend and sister move in to help her raise her children. Let us all hope that the newer version of Full House is just as heart warming as the previous. So to celebrate the upcoming Full House revival, below is an update on some of your Full House favorites. Some of these actors and actresses decided to continue to act after their run on Full House ended. Others, chose to go into different fields to explore new passions. Whatever these former Full House stars are up to now, I’m sure we’re all hoping to see them in the reboot.

Full House fans got to watch Candace Cameron Bure grow up from a little kid into a young woman when she played D.J Tanner (the eldest of the Tanner sisters­) on the show. In addition to working on Full House, Bure also starred in a few made for TV movies and in an episode of Boy Meets World. After Full House ended, Bure was introduced to her future husband by none other than Dave Coulier. Bure wed her husband in 1996, the couple now have three children together. Bure has also continued to act. She starred on the show Make it or Break It and in a few movies on the Hallmark Channel. Fuller House will center around Bure after her husband passes away.

Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit played Jesse and Rebecca’s adorable twin boys on Full House. Blake and Dylan were so young when they acted in Full House, that one of them doesn't even remember being on set while the other claims that he can remember bits and pieces. Blake and Dylan are now 24 years old. The twins never acted again after their roles on Full House and now have full time jobs. Blake is a firefighter, while Dylan works on post sound for the popular show Game of Thrones. It’s not clear whether or not the boys will be appearing on the new spin-off, but we’re all hoping for the best.

Andrea Barber played D.J’s annoying but lovable best friend, Kimmy Gibbler. After Full House ended, Barber decided to take a step back from acting in order to focus on her personal life. She earned a degree in English from Whittier College and an MA in Women’s Studies from University of York, England. In 2002, Barber married Jeremy Rytky, the couple have two children together. Luckily for all the Full House fans out there, Barber has confirmed that she will be reprising her roles as Kimmy Gibler, alongside her real life BFF Candace Cameron Bure in Fuller House.

1 Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen 

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen shared the role of Michelle Tanner on Full House. After Full House, the twins went on to build their own media empire with movies such as, It Takes Two, Billboard Dad and When In Rome. The twin’s final feature film was New York Minute. The film marked Ashley’s last acting role to date, although Mary-Kate continues to act in movies and TV shows. Mary-Kate has had roles in The Wackness, Beastly and Weeds. The twins also have their own fashion line together. Mary-Kate and Ashley haven’t announced whether or not they’ll be making an appearance in Fuller House. In fact, the pair claimed that they hadn't even heard about the reunion until it was announced to the world.
