Hip-hop is one of the oldest music genres in American history, especially from the amazing celebrities in this industry. The following are the ten best hip-hop record labels of all time.

10 Suave House

Tony Draper started the label in the early 90's. 8Ball, Memphis duo, and MJG were also signed in year 1990. Other rappers available were South Circle, Tela, and Crime boss. However, in the year 2000 MJG and 8Ball left the label making it not receive any noticeable success. It sold a records amounting to $40 million.

9 Cash Money

This company was extremely successful although it is noted that some people did not particularly enjoy this label. Some of the top artists in this label are B.G., Lil WayneDrake, and Hot Boyz. It sold $87 million in records.

8 Cold Chillin'

They were responsible for several of the golden years of hip-hop rap in the late 80's and early 90's. These Albums were mainly by classics like Biz MarkieBig Daddy Kane, MC Shan, and Kool G. Rap. The company died however in 1998 after all members left. It sold$ 89 million worth of records.

7 Roc Nation

This was the early Jay-z label before he went and joined a different one. Alongside Jay-z, there was Dame as well as Kareem Burke. It sold $ 80 million of records.

This was started by Paul Rosenberg and Eminem in the year 1999 and has borrowed a lot of music partnership from Aftermath. Therefore, along with the way some of the Aftermath artists were coerced to join the shady records. Some of them were house, Obie TriceYelawolf, and Bad Meets Evil.

This is one of the best beats ever produced hip-hop label. Aftermath studios were started by legend star Dr. Dre in the year 1996. The artists include 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Kendrick LamarEminem, and others. Other featured artists were Stat Quo, Busta Rhymes, and The Game.

1 Death Row

This label was founded in the year 1991 by the popular Suge Knight jr. This record sold approximately for over $50 million worldwide. Albums like the Doggystyleall Eyez on me,  and Chronic where all amazing. Artists included Snoop Dogg ,Dr. Dre, Daz, Tupac, The Dogg Pound, Mc HammerNate Dogg, and West Coast Baby.
