20 Sweet Liberty Drinks and Supply Company
This spot not only has a place where you can dance all night, but they will serve you deviled eggs while you are doing it. It’s a local favorite because it has something for everyone.
“Pop in on a Saturday night to find people of all ages dancing to old-school tunes, singing along to the live band (which changes often) or tucked away in a booth.
When it comes to drinks, award-winning bartender John Lermayer’s drink menu is equal parts innovation and celebration of the classics with a few minor twists,” wrote TimeOut.
19 Club Space
This is one of the most popular places that you can go to in Miami. It’s another after-hours club that will take you right until the early morning. If you are a fan of trance, house, and techno music, then this is the place you want to be at. You can watch the sunrise while sipping on your favorite concoction. They will let you hang around anytime from 10 am to 2 pm.
18 ORA, Miami Beach
If you like celebrity sightings, then you will love this nightclub. You are likely to see Snoop Dogg hanging around because he's a frequent visitor. The Kardashians and the Jenners will also hit up the nightclub from time to time. Expect there to be lines at the door and plenty of bouncers to keep everyone in check. If there is an act that you are interested in, we recommend you buy tickets in advance so that you can guarantee that they will let you in.
17 LIV Nightclub
You won’t find a more happening place than LIV nightclub. If you want to go big and have a night to remember, then this is the club for you. There’s also a good chance that you will see some celebrities as well. Be sure to dress to impress, however, because not everyone gets past the velvet ropes. It’s always a late night at LIV, the headlining DJ doesn’t even start until 1 or 2 am.
16 E11even Nightclub
This is another after-hours club you want to check out at least once in your life. The best part about this club is that there's entertainment as well with choreographed acts from go-go dancers, contortionists, theatrical characters, and aerialists. So expect to be entertained all night. And if that didn't convince, we're here to tell you Drake is often spotted here too. If he shows up, he’s likely to make a surprise performance as well, and you don’t get much cooler than that. The best part is that it’s open 24 hours a day.
15 Employees Only
If you like the environment of a speakeasy, then you are going to love this bar. It’s a New York City concept that traveled to Miami Beach.
“Its vintage decor blends effortlessly with the vibes of Miami Beach.
And loyal patrons of the perpetually packed West Village location can rest easy knowing that the "Billionaire" drink and hand-cut steak tartare are still served alongside several 305 exclusives,” wrote TimeOut. So if you're looking for something a little more cozy, this is your best bet.
14 Story Nightclub
This is the sister club to LIV nightclub and has seen the likes of big-name DJs like Calvin Harris, Skrillex, and Steve Aoki who are regulars at the nightclub. There are live entertainers there as well and a massive DJ booth. You won't regret spending your Saturday night here. It’s a more inclusive club, but it’s still not an easy door to get into.
13 The Anderson Nightclub
If you love the nostalgia of the '80s, then you are sure to love this place. It’s one of Miami’s oldest bars and you will love the jukebox. “The result is the collective efforts of Broken Shaker/Bar Lab's Gabe Orta and Elad Zvi and the Workshop Collective's Jourdan Binder, plus Vagabond chef Alex Chang, who the guys enlisted to helm the eccentric bar menu (think cool-ranch beef crackling and French escargot).” The drinks are fun, the food is greasy, and the vibes are totally laid back.
12 Wall Lounge
This is a VIP party that you are going to want to be part of. There are two bars there as well as a dance floor. It's become less strict over the years to get past the bouncer, so you might have a chance of getting in. “It's still a foxy party with the beautiful people of South Beach. Walls glitter with gilded, diamond-patterned mirrors and a disco ball hangs above the center of the room. Special times of the year like New Year’s Eve or the Winter Music Conference in late March draw top DJ talent, but the typical line-up is more up and coming or underground.” So if you're really into the music scene and like to be ahead of the game, come check out the rising talent here.
11 Floyd Miami
How could you not want to party at a cool place like this? It is the sister club to Club Space. This bar is open for 24 hours so you might lose a sense of time in there. If you like places that have a jazzy atmosphere, then you have come to the right place. But when the night hits, the music changes up and the club has more of an electronic vibe to it. It can only hold about 200 people, so it'll be easier to get in if you're with a small group.
10 The Broken Shaker
The atmosphere at The Broken Shaker is incredible. Just look at this place — the bar is part of the high-end hostel The Freehand. The inside of the bar is a cross between Paris and New Orleans. Not only does it have a gorgeous courtyard, but it’s also has a pool. We could spend all summer long here. One of the cool features about the bar is that the menu changes every ten days based on the ingredients they have and what is fresh at the moment.
9 Ball and Chain
If you love Cuban food and awesome drinks, then this is the place for you. “Today’s Ball & Chain is a recreation of a 1930s hotspot that once occupied the same space and welcomed jazz superstars like Billie Holiday, Count Basie, and Chet Baker to its stage,” wrote TimeOut. While they don't have a full menu like a restaurant, if you're looking for a quick snack or something small to munch on while chilling, then this a good spot. The bar serves what is known as bar snacks, but they are very delicious.
8 Hyde Beach
If pool parties are your thing, then the Hyde Beach bar is definitely a place you should venture to if you are in Miami. It’s like being in an outdoor club or a surf shack. It’s even better if you are staying at the SLS South Beach hotel. If you go inside the bar, you can find a dance floor, DJ booth, and VIP tables. The weekend apparently has some pretty intense pool parties, too. What more could you ask for in Miami?
This is the kind of place you want to spend all summer long at because the atmosphere is very laid back. It’s a popular place, so if it’s a Friday or Saturday, you can expect to wait in a very long line. It’s a rooftop bar that is stunning to say the least. “The menu is simple, but it should have something for everyone. A drink will cost you $12 to $15 — a typical price for Brickell.” What we love most about this place is the waterside view of course.
6 Rácket Nightclub
The owners of this place took over a warehouse and they created something very cool out of it. “Rácket features two adjacent rooms, each slightly different in terms of cocktails and ambiance. The atrium is a bit more laid back. Couches sit in front of bar specializing in tiki-influenced drinks. Past the atrium bar, the main room feels more like a lounge for the late-night crowd,” wrote TimeOut. This place a modern, young-professionals-type of vibe to it, so be sure to dress to impress if you decide to hit up this place. You never know who you'll meet.
If you like neon and disco, then this is the place for you. The nightclub is based off of the legendary Studio 54. There is actually a dance floor, skating rink, and a four-lane bowling alley inside. Just look at the atmosphere and feel the trippy vibe that it inspires. The nightclub often hosts themed parties throughout the year and we bet they are a lot of fun. Some nights are really busy, but for the most part, you shouldn’t have trouble getting past the velvet rope.
4 Ricky's South Beach
This is the sort of place you would think was for kids, at least if you go by the décor. But leave your kids at home, this is all about adult fun. The bar has a great menu that has amazing craft brews and a cool drinks menu. There are plenty of adult-friendly activities and even arcade games. If you love Artichoke Pizza, you can get it here by the slice. You'll also feel like you've travelled back to the '80s thanks to the old-school music.
The great thing about this bar is that it will feel like you are at a backyard BBQ with all of your friends. It is like being in a backyard with random-colored furniture and bistro lights strung up all over the place. It’s a very casual atmosphere that allows you to walk in and grab a drink of your choice from a cooler, take it to the register, and then grab a seat. It’s as easy as that. So if you're not in the mood to get all dressed up but still want to go out, this is the place.
2 The Regent
This is an elite place with what we would describe as having a Mad Men vibe to it. Even the mixologists are wearing waistcoats. If getting away from the hustle and bustle of South Beach is what you are looking for, then this is the bar for you. It will make you feel like you stepped into another era. “The Club’s retro stylings, complete with leather banquettes, live lounge music, and a side patio make it feel as if the Rat Pack could walk through the door at any moment,” wrote TimeOut.
1 The Scape Goat
Not only does this bar look pretty cool, but it also has a quaint vibe to it. Only 40 people at a time can fit here. But being one of those 40 people is totally worth it when you get to taste the craft drinks. They only use made-in-America ingredients and we love the support they have for their country. You will want to spend the whole night watching the bartenders who really put on a show. They do it all and that includes smoke, flames, and many other techniques that make you think you walked into a science lab.
