Vin Diesel’s home, which marks his starting career in Hollywood, is starting at an asking price of $1.3 million. The 1,517 square foot Hollywood Hills mansion sitting on a 12,505 square foot lot is Vin’s home for more than a decade. He decided to stay in his modest bachelor pad.
The three bedroom, three bathroom house was purchased by Diesel in 2000 for $562,500.
After 13 years, the actor is selling the mega mansion for $1,300,000 which the listing describes as “a perfect hideout for a celebrity or those who seek privacy and serenity.”
It is completely walled and gated. It features a vast master bedroom with sunken tub and steam shower, outdoor spaces, open floor plan with tons of natural light, indoor/outdoor living room with fireplace and high-beamed ceiling with skylights, large entertaining backyard, pool spa and two door garage.
Previous records showed that Vin asked $5,800 a month to rent the place.
The actor is famous for his roles in Saving Private Ryan, Boiler Room, Fast & Furious and more. He is currently busy promoting his action flick Riddick.
"Everything I do in character, I take seriously. What's inside of Riddick is so scary that, now that I have kids, and I watch Riddick, there is a part of me that feels guilty for having such a darkness in that character. Because I look at what he's doing and I think, 'That wasn't cool. He shouldn't have killed him'. . .the physical aspect of these characters is a little bit more natural to me but the emotion that you put behind the fighting is really the [most important] part of that process," Diesel said about the movie.
