Taylor Swift childhood home listed at $799,500

The house, where Taylor Swift spent her defining years before becoming one of today’s topnotch pop artists is listed at $799,500 on the market.

Taylor grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Berkes Country, Pennsylvania. When she was 14, her parents moved to the “country music capital” of Nashville, Tennessee to support her singing career.

The 78 Grandview Blvd, Reading, PA 19609 was a classic 1927 home and was sold in 2007 for $480,000. The property features six bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, light hardwood flooring, French doors and windows, wooden staircases connecting all the floors, eye-catching chandeliers, updated kitchen and marble and granite surfaces.

Being known as the childhood home of the country singer, fans began to flock and take photos of the property. Before its restoration, several mementos of Taylor were recovered such as her childhood toys and old school papers.

The 23-year-old artist who is worth $80 million, was reported to have purchased a luxurious mansion worth $17 million at Rhode Island.
