Russell Brand Buys $2.2 Million LA English Country House

Russell Brand bought a $2.2 million residence at LA English County.

The house iwas formerly owned by Laurence Olivier in 1926 and restored by Roy Selden Prince. It has been on and off the market since 2010.

The 4,800 square foot property has five bedrooms, a choice of bathrooms, gothic-inspired arched ceilings, modern roofing, unique arches, sprawling balconies, outdoor deck, sweeping valley, small yard and a view of LA.

For pure entertainment, enjoy movies in a sizable cinema with a state-of-the-art screen while resting on the lengthy black leather couches.

While Brand seems to have found a new home, his ex-wife Katy Perry struggles in selling their house for $5.988 million from its original price of $6.925 million. Katy has moved on to her boyfriend, John Mayer’s place. Mayer recently purchased a new pad worth $11.2 million.

Brand, the 38-year-old actor and comedian was also photographed in an intimate arm in arm scene with Jemima Khan in London. Perry and Brand divorced in 2011, 14 months after they got married.
